Tanglewood Golf Club - Reynolds Course
Played On 11/25/2017Very enjoyable course
Course was in great condition. Minor problem with moles behind green on par 5. Ball buried and was very hard to find just beyond the green. Greens were fast, well maintained.

Tanglewood Golf Club - Championship Course
Played On 11/04/201799 Traps without sand
We did not lose any balls on the course. They all ended up in the hard pan traps. After awhile we just tossed balls out of the traps. We were paired with Championship player. He scored below par.
Tanglewood Golf Club - Reynolds Course
Played On 10/14/2017Quality All Around
The course is located in the heart of Tanglewood Park. Beauty surrounds, with wild life in and out of the woods. They seemed to have trained the Canadian Geese to stay off the greens. Slow players were courteous and let us play through. The greens were in great shape, course was well manicured. Woods surround the fairways. Errant balls are easily lost into the woods, water in play on three holes. Rolling terrain. Very enjoyable to play.
Salem Glen Country Club
Played On 09/02/2017Excellent Country Club Course
The course was in good condition following a rain. Carts were allowed on the fairway. Standing water was in the sand traps and the wet sand was packed firmly. Very large bent grass greens. Some holes with water and beautiful blue heron and other birds. Course is environment friendly. Invites you to play again and again.
Yadkin Country Club
Played On 08/26/2017Good Country Course
Good variety of holes. Trees often come into play if you are not down the middle player, some water but only on a few holes. Terrain is hilly, bare spots in some of fair ways.
Forward tees are a big advantage over blue and white tees giving women and seniors a comfortable distance to the green.
Silo Run Golf Course
Played On 08/19/2017Beautiful Setting with Mt. Pilot View
Silo Run is a nice drive from Winston-Salem. You past lush farm lands, vineyards into the beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Pilot Mountain.
The course was in very good condition. It is in rolling hills with some up hill greens and one very memorable down hill placement on the back nine. I was glad to see the down hill was mowed instead of over grown.. Water comes into play with a creek and a lake. There are trees that can get into way on errant shots.
The foreward tees are friendly to women and seniors who do not drive the ball over 150 yards. The Blue tee boxes can challenge the long ball hitters.
The amenities are not like a country club so they can make price to play very attractive. I don't want to spend time at a bar when I go there. I can stop to wine taste on way back home at a nearby Winery.
Silo Run is a hidden jewel. I hope to return with friends time and time again.
