This course is a difficult design and as a result plays slow most times. Course has been left to deteriorate the last few years. As of to-day greens are fine the rest needs work but the dollars to play it reflects the shape. It is good value under $30.

Greens are a little rough, cups weren't changed for awhile. A great course for your first round upon arriving in Florida. Price is excellent, course layout is good. Accept this course for what it is.

The greens were as healthy as I have seen in Florida this winter. They were a little slow but when the greens super starts to lower his mowers they will be great. I play this course once a winter and I noticed a marked improvement over last year. There is evidence of money being spent here on a number of fronts. Clearly this course is on its way back. Play it now while the course remains good value. The price will be inching up with the improvements, and so it should. Great to see the changes.

The greens had undulations and required a shot to the right section. the design was old school tour quality. Enjoyed this course very much for what it is. Although the greens are good and put very good the fairways are not pristine but it is winter in Florida.

This course is a course I play and enjoy every year. This time was no exception. One negative this time though. I went to check in and purchased range balls. I had a hot deal and was told that I could not check in until twenty minutes before my tee time because some people have purchased an afternoon tee time arrived early and went to the starter to try to get off earlier. I had to hit my range balls and return to the pro shop a second time to check in twenty minutes before my tee time. I recognize this as a problem that needs a solution. I feel not allowing me to check in and having to purchase my range balls and return 20 minutes before my tee time is terrible customer service and a the sign of a low end course. This course is not trying to be low end, nor should it, so the management here needs to figure out how to eliminate the few golfers who try to manipulate the system without inconveniencing the well intentioned customers. This looks like a knee jerk reaction with very little thought. Hope to see this rectified when I return.

This is a good solid course with a few holes that have a high degree of difficulty. Suited to better golfers. It presents a good risk reward on a few holes.

The course has a nice variety of holes with some bit to it. The owners are in the process of bringing it back to life after it was previously allowed to die. As a result you get what you pay for here in terms of condition. The greens are without grass in spots and slow.There are very few people playing the course so pace of play is quick. For very little more than the price of a bucket of balls you get a round of golf. Do not expect more. This is a good course to play for your first round when you arrive in Florida. There is clear evidence that they are working on this course and you will be paying more to play when conditions improve. The staff are excellent and working hard to keep players happy.

I played this course to-day and it rained quite hard and then stopped. We proceeded to play and the Ranger told us the course was shutting down due to weather and we needed to finish our hole and leave. When we went for a rain check we received a 9 hole rain check even though we did not finish our first 9 holes. The pro shop attendant told us that if we completed at least 5 holes then the maximum rain check available was 9 holes. I would recommend that you keep this in mind when playing this course. Do not play if there is any chance of rain or you will not be treated fairly.
