This was my second time playing this course. Played here last fall and wasn't able to use the practice facilities due to a car show going on that weekend. Range and short game areas are very nice. Tough little layout with some very narrow holes that require you to shape shots into greens and off the tee. Course was in great shape, greens were about perfect. Tee boxes need some water, but we haven't had much rain this month. Pace of play was fine, played 18 in under 4 hours. Got a great deal on golfnow, right around $30 per player. Recommend to anyone looking for a good challenge on a nice course.

It's been a long time since I've play this course, and it will be a long time until I go back. Can't complain about the rates. You can usually find a tee time for under $20, but the course needs some work. Tee boxes were just about dirt, and you almost needed a hammer to stick your tee in the ground. Some bunkers were raked, but most were hard and full of rocks. On some holes, a good tee shot in the fairway is rewarded by ending up on a dry dirt patch in the middle of the fairway. This place started going downhill a few years ago, and nothing has changed.

I've played this course close to 50 times, one of my favorite public courses in the Savannah/Hilton Head area. Nice to play it when it was completely dry, weather was beautiful. Pace of play was surprisingly good. Finished in just under 4 hours with it being fairly busy on a Friday afternoon (this course is a 5 hour round at times). Always a fun course to play, winds constantly change directions. Greens were in great shape, but fairways not quite in spring form...its still February. Recommend this course to anyone visiting in Savannah.
