Do not play this course during overseeing prep time. This is probably an outstanding course in the good growing seasons, but don't let the lower end of summer season price lure you. The rolling topography and hot dry summer are not a good combination here. The course was trashed and you struggle to find any grass worth playing off. The greens were a mess, having little to do with overseeing prep. They were just trash. The outside cart guy was extremely helpful and very nice. The pro shop desk guy was having a bad day and let it show. He could be overheard complaining, using not so perfect language, and told someone it would be his last day there. Will never know if it was.

Course conditions were understandably fair for dry desert summer. Greens were the best condition/feature. Layout is very chopped up, through many houses with many road crossings. A couple crossings in high traffic area and a bit dangerous. Tight houses on many holes were a distraction. We had fun. Would play again at a lower price. Loved the Pub, music and food.

Very nice course and excellent value for the price. The course has challenges, but doesn't beat you up. Stadium style course with room for the less than perfect shot. Houses were not a distraction and generally out of play. It's on our list for a return visit.

We really enjoyed this course. Used every club in the bag. Not your average Par 3 course. Very nice features, vegetation and visual design. Greens were a bit rough and tough to read but understandable, getting ready to prepare for seasonal over seeding.

Great value course. A must play if you are in the Phoenix area

We found the course in good shape with excellent (condition) greens. If you can survive the first 5 holes and still have enough golf balls to keep going, you will enjoy the rest. Plentiful fairways, but large typical ridiculous Nicklaus design greens (I usually avoid his courses). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful under some tough circumstances with the COVID issue and regulations. Also enjoyed the Osprey nesting area and their activity. Pay a twilight rate, not full visitor rate!

First, we played the course during the COVID19 events and were glad they were open and paying attention to care directives. On site amenities were limited. We really liked the course. Ample fairways to absorb errant shots, yet good green side challenges. Late winter conditions not perfect but greens excellent and fast. My only complaint is that we had a twilight rate tee time and when we signed in, we found they had us for a 10 minute earlier tee time and charged us $10 more pp. Very strange.

Great shape, nice layout, no houses, no hotel, roads or parking lots to distract.

We enjoyed our quick 9 hole round although course conditions were pretty rough due to lousy spring weather and growing conditions
