Good course layout will test your game, some very nice views well worth a visit

We play this course every time we go to Florida for a golf holiday, nice course good layout and some fantastic views over the lake well worth a trip to play this course

Played this course for the 1st time, enjoyed the game nice course not as flat as you would think being next to town moor, well worth a visit, pro very friendly good atmosphere around the place

Booked a four ball and when I rang to book a buggy as two of my friends can't play without one was told they were on a first come first served basis. As there was no indication of this when I booked the tee times I explained that if I turned up and no buggy was available my friends couldn't play and we has already paid for the fourball the pro shop said they couldn't help me. I think this should be made apparent when booking. When we arrived we asked for a buggy and were told that we couldn't book it even though we were there until 30 mins before our tee time, even though we offered to pay for it. The pro shop welcome was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. The only friendly person at the course was the lady in the bar who gave us our food. I have played golf at many courses but wouldn't recommend this course there if definitely not a welcome for visitors, perhaps it's because they are not getting any money.

Played this course with my husband and it took 5 hours. The course is in good condition and we have played it before and had a long round but decided to give it another try. The course was really slow and we waited on every hole which is a shame as the course is really good. Unfortunately the ladies toilet on the 13th hole was filthy and I couldn't use it.

Played this course for the first time and it was really good, the staff were friendly, the course was in great condition and the pace of play was really good. Will definitely play this course again

Played this course a couple of years ago and said I never would again but read that they had made some improvements so decided to try it again and I must say they have made some improvements to the course. The greens are now in good condition and big improvements have been made to the fairways as well. Pace of play was great will definitely go back.

Loved this course, everything about it, BUT we were a two ball sent out behind two 5 balls and we waited on every single hole sometimes one of the 5 ball group were waiting as well, not a good experience perhaps we were unlucky but wouldn't return to the course for this reason

Having read some of the reviews I didn't expect a lot at this course but I was pleasantly surprised. The course was a bit rough on the fairways but the greens were in great shape and the course itself is quite hilly and very challenging. It's definitely worth a trip to play it. The pace of play was excellent and the staff are very friendly.

We booked a tee for 1 o'clock and when we got there we found out we were teamed up with a single and playing with the seniors in a shotgun start! If we had known this before we wouldn't have played but I must say we had good fun although the pace was a little slow as there were lots of 4 balls and we were a 3. The course is in good condition and the staff were very friendly. We would definitely go back.

We were looking forward to playing Providence again as it is a while since we played it, when we arrived we were told that the front 9 were closed and the guy in the pro shop said the greens on the back 9 had been "killed". We were very disappointed with this as there was no indication when we booked of this if there had been we would not have played. The greens were slippy with the dressing they had put on them and as everyone was playing the same 9 holes it was quite busy. I wouldn't play this course again until all 18holes are on and that look like it will be a while.

Played this course with my husband, the course is in very good condition and well laid out and we enjoyed playing it, however the pace of play was very slow even though the course wasn't particularly busy that day. I would recommend it to others, nice course for the money.

I don't know if we picked the wrong day but the pace of play was really slow, we waited on every hole and the course seemed to be jam packed. Although we like the course we wouldn't play again because of the pace of play, the round took us nearly 5 hours.

Played this course with my husband, they were very friendly and welcoming in the pro shop. The course itself is par threes and fours and some of the par threes are quite tricky. The course itself is in quite nice condition and for the price we paid it was really good value for money. It's also a good course if you just want a quick round of golf. I would definitely play this course again,.

I've played golf all over the place but this was the most unfriendly place I've ever played. When we arrived we were very early as we hadn't visited before and didn't want to be late. When the guy in the pro shop decided to serve us we asked if we could go any earlier as the tee was free, we were told the course was extremely busy and had to wait, this normally would not be a problem but after waiting 30 minutes and seeing nobody tee off we again asked if we could go, we were told no. We then stood for another 30 minutes during which time no one came to the tee box.

To add insult to injury when we came to the 10th two four balls teed off and held us up for the whole back nine. We would not visit this course again.

I booked a tee with golfnow for a game with my wife as we were on holiday in Yorkshire, we arrived at the club about an hour before our tee time on arrival I asked the young gentleman in the pro shop if we could possibly tee off early as the 1st tee was empty he said the course was booked solid we had a coffee and went to the practice area near to the first tee still only to odd 2 ball teeing off after waiting at the empty tee for another 20 minutes I asked again if we could tee off the guy said we must stick to our tee time when we did tee off we flew round the first 9 holes only to be held up on the 11th hole by 2 four balls that had started on the 10th tee the rest of the round took hours

First time we've played here and it was a bit out of the way as we were staying on international drive but it was well worth a visit. The staff were very friendly and the course was a nice layout with a few quite tricky holes. At the first hole it looks a bit rough but if definitely gets better, my only criticism would be the looks around the course are a bit dodgy, apart from that I would play there again.

Played this course twice this week and had a great front 9 steady pace good fun but a 4ball and a single jumped on the back nine even though we were coming through we waited for 20 mins and when we complained to the starter he just said go round the front 9 again. We were disappointed but decided it would be quicker than waiting. We went back again a few days later and tried again, the same thing happened, when we got to the 10th there was a queue waiting to tee off even though we had no one ahead of us on the front 9, so if you want to pay to play 18 but only play the front 9 twice, this is the course for you, I've played this course for a few years but won't be going back again.

I always play this course on holiday I think it is a crime to close a golf course like this for housing someone is very greedy I feel very sorry for the people that live around this beautiful course that is being taken away from them
