Cape Royal Golf Club - Queen/King
Played On 07/24/2019Best Golf Value Cape Coral
Played six rounds while on vacation in Cape Coral. Three of those were at Cape Royal. We cannot say enough about the staff and facility. Course has been beautifully enhanced and there is just enough trouble to challenge most levels, while not being unmanageable for beginners. Played the Queen and the Prince, but will have to wait until next year’s vacay to play the King (opens in August). At $60 a couple, it is better value than the three other course we played, all within 25 minutes of each other. Did not eat there, so cannot comment on the food. Absolutely recommend and will play again when we’re back in the area.
Twin Isles Country Club

Played a couple rounds there two years ago on vacation and really enjoyed it. Course conditions have severely deteriorated. Fairways are over run with some type of crabgrass and several greens were not in great shape. The attendant in the pro shop must have drawn the short straw for working on Sunday morning; he was miserable and had zero personality. When we stopped in after 9 to grab drinks, he begrudgingly came to the cash and threw my change on the counter like I had disturbed his Open Championship viewing time. Not the type of rep I would want greeting paying customers. Completely different from the bag attendant who was very respectful and friendly. Not intending on golfing there again in the near future.

We’re visiting the Cape Coral area and have hit three courses in a week. This is by far the best maintained course that we found. The others were nice layouts, but have been overcome by some type of crabgrass. Cape Royal’s fairways are in excellent condition and their greens are close to immaculate. Bag drop assistants, starter and on course staff are all personable and genuinely want you to enjoy your round. We’ve played it twice and will play again before heading home.
Hello. Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for your experience during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements before your next game. Wee will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing Twin Isles. We hope to see you again soon.
