Beautiful course to look at and awesome to play. Always a treat when we're on the Island. We're a "geezer" couple, playing the white and the green tees, and though we lost two balls each, we should have lost just one each - that be golf. The carries are challenging, but do-able, and overall we felt charmed and delighted to play this gem. Greens were green and true, lovely wide open course (as opposed to on-island tight,) and as it was warm, awesome alligators to photo. We've decided to play it again this vacation, as it is a very special course!

Always a delight to play, beautiful course and course conditions, and we played with a delightful couple who joined us for a superb dinner after. Going back on Monday at 11:14!

Country Club course is in great shape, with wide fairways and fast accurate greens. Friendly to play with few hazards (though tee-off from the blues on 10 over pond with fountain, is a nice dramatic challenge.) Many greens had traps only on one side, making approaches eminently doable, even with many shots being blind from the hilly fairways). Overall, a delight to play, capped by a wonderful meal in the new clubhouse. We'll be back at your reasonable prices.

Friendly and charming course to play. With superb lunch (and draft beer!) delivered to our cart on the 10th, fast greens, and a delightful Canadian twosome to play we, it was a wonderful last round in HHI!

Wonderful to play this big, beautiful, dramatic hitters course on our second to last round in HHI. Greens we perfect, fairways lovely. A delight to play, I played the blues, my wife played the whites, we lost no balls and enjoyed low scores. Great round - thank you!

A special experience to be admitted to the marine base, travel through it, and enjoy a very fine low country course at the southern tip of the island. Big, open course with lots of charm and moderate challenges, especially on the back nine. We had perfect weather and great pace of play, 3.5 hours. Thank you for a wonderful day!

A delight to play. Fairly easy and straight forward, off island in the tall pines. Lovely change of pace and relaxing to play after playing the more challenging Sea Pines courses, Golden Bear and Old South. Greens putted true also, though grass coming back in some spots, so we ended up with great scores.. Very good value for the money. Definitely will play again.

We love this course. Magnificent, challenging, beautiful. Requires accurate ball placement, and depending on your tee, some carry over water. We highly recommend this course. Great value. Staff very courteous and helpful.

Wide, friendly fairways, with no water carry. Played as a relaxed twosome, enjoyed the back #2 tees of 6, and had a wonderful round even in the strong wind with the generous landing areas. Greens were fast and true. Complimentary water range balls were appreciated. We arrived early as a ways inland, starter suggested go to restaurant to get out of wind, and enjoyed breakfast so much we went back for lunch. Thanks for a great day!

Starter claimed it to be friendliest course in SW Florida. We played the tips accordingly, and enjoyed the wide landing areas, minimal water in play, and straight forward layout. No surprises, hitters dream,. Played with a delightful couple from Toronto for a heavenly round. Thank you!

We're a senior couple playing white and gold - making some of the tee water carries required our B+ game, and we (mostly!) nailed it, so we had a hoot. Challenging, but fair. Fair price, great round - thank you!
