The playing conditions were great but most notable to me was the greens were OUTSTANDING!!
-The condition of the grass on the greens was well groomed and maintained - "manicured" comes to mind. They were still challenging due to their design but now I know why watching the pros on TV make it look so easy.
-The rest of the course is still challenging with the different elevations on the fairways with some pretty tight and others sloped but overall a great course to play on.
-Staff and management are friendly and are doing a great job on the golf course and especially taking precautions during our current national health crisis.
Other Notes:
-Due to the country's COVID-19 problem, the course has instituted social distancing measures like issuing one cart to each player, no rakes for sand traps (just smooth them out best you can if you use them) and leave the flags in to avoid unnecessary contact. Also bring your own water and snack bar food and beverages are available but not consumed indoors but can be consumed out under the patio.
Since they use twice as many carts than normal, they suck up the price of the extra wear and tear and maintenance and request they are turned in right after finishing the round so they can clean them up and get them serviced for the next users.

Just played Blackstone Golf Course. earlier this afternoon and the course was in great shape! Greens were in super condition and fairways were very playable. The rough (when I missed the fairway) was challenging but not excessively deep. The woods were not too overgrown and thick when I totally missed the fairways and somehow miraculously managed to not lose a ball all day.
The pace of play was good with our 3-some finishing the full round within 3 to 3-1/2 hours.
The Course Manager and Staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful.
I recommend Blackstone G.C. highly if you want to get away and enjoy a pleasant and challenging round of golf.

Had a Great Time - The course was in Excellent condition and was well maintained.
Staff was friendly and courteous.
Range balls were provided so my partner and I got to warm up some before playing.
Amenities included bottled water that was provided at some holes during the round.
Greens were in great condition and were challenging due to their design (and my mediocre putting skills) .
All-in-all it was a very nice course and round of golf.
Not only would I recommend it, I have just finishing booking there again for another round. :)

I live in the local area and Black Stone Golf Course is about 40 minutes inland from the Gulf of Mexico. It is one of the nicest courses in the Destin, SanDestin and Ft. Walton Beach Florida area.
The rates are great and the course is well maintained.
It is by far, has much better playing condition and is more budget friendly than some of the "tourist" courses located near or on the beaches.
The staff is friendly and the pace of play the times I have played there so far, was great and pretty much unhurried.
If you happen to live in the local area or visiting on vacation, this would be a nice peaceful place for a great round of golf.
