This is a nice course with a variety of holes, some trees, and some water. The greens were excellent, and the fairways were good. Off the fairways is a little ragged. Overall, the course was good shape for early April.

I have not played the course in the Spring, Summer, or Fall, so I do not know what it is like when the grass is green and growing and there are leaves on the trees.
Therefore, my review may not be worth that much.

However, I like the course a lot. Many of the holes are very well designed and visually attractive. It is easy to walk, and you are for the most part surrounded by nature.

The greens were in good shape. Some holes don't drain well (3 is the worst) so it can be swampy.

This round we finished in a little over three hours, but it can take longer.

I have to try it during real golf season. You should too.

The owners have done an excellent job bringing the course back from the brink after the bankruptcy. The fairways, tee boxes, greens, and bunkers are all good. However, if you are slightly off the fairway the conditions rapidly deteriorate, leaving you with a crab grass or dirt lie. The carts were not clean. Pricing may also be an issue at times. Friendly staff.

This is a nice, well-maintained golf course. Greens rolled well.

We played the Ridge course and, for the first time, the Lake course. Both were maintained to the highest standards. All the courses, but especially the Ridge, have beautiful views of the valley and mountains.
However, the golfers who play these beautiful course could use a few lessons in fixing ball marks on the greens and replacing divots. You remember the old saw about repairing your ball mark and one other, well on some holes yesterday I fixed mine and 5 others.

Keep your ball out of the fescue.

The pace was also poor. 2:40 to play the Ridge. The round was 5:00-5:10.

To sum it up, these are excellent golf courses well worth playing.

A big storm was coming in and the staff helped me get out earlier, which was much appreciated. The course was in very good condition, especially the greens.

It has always been a pleasure to play Sea Oaks.

Played in January, so that must be taken into account.
I liked the course. While it does have straight holes, if you play from the blue tees some of the straight holes become less so. Also, there is water on many of the holes, and there are elevation changes. Rural area, which is nice.
All in all we had a fun day and plan to be back.

I had not played the East Course in several years.
It was in good shape. Forgiving , but if you are too far off line the height and density of the flora will make finding the ball virtually impossible.
A good course to walk.

White Oaks was in good condition the day I played.
I like that it is carved out of the woods, except when my ball ends up there.

The course was in excellent condition for mid-November. Where the ball finds itself on the green is very important, as the greens are fast and have subtle contours.

Quail Brook is a well designed and maintained course. The staff has done a very nice job this year considering the extremely dry conditions.

Aerated tee to green. A heads up would have been nice.

I have always played an enjoyable round at Mercer Oaks West. Well designed and maintained. Also a good course to walk when the heat index is not 110.

The course was in excellent condition. Greens were a little slow.
