Course in great shape! Greens rolling true. Golf carts need to be replaced. All of the carts had torn seats. I ended up paired with another group which was fine, their cart died on the 16th hole. At least get new seats and new batteries!

Tee boxes finally softer! No need for a hammer today. A few holes on the back nine where it appears the grass washed away or some sort of issue happened. Not awful, looks like they are actively working on it. Worst part are the cart restrictions. Hole 15 is impossible to leave the cart path. No reason for the hole to be cart path only. It is a par 4. Only one side has a path, turn OFF the restrictions mode on the carts!

Played on a Friday afternoon. Temperature was high which made the course less crowded. Greens in great shape. Rolled true. Maintenance workers were on the course watering greens in the heat. Water traps are improved and holding water now. Sand traps still need better sand, but improvements take time. Will be back!

Good shape even with the lack of rain. Greens were true. Old school golf carts without GPS tracking and restrictions on driving - HALLELUJAH!

Time to get new golf carts. All of them look worn out. Steering was bad and reverse gear did not work well.

Been several years since playing this course. Great layout and the course was in good condition. The aeration worked. Greens were coming back and rolled true. Reminds me of golf courses in the Central Texas area with the hills and water. Will return when I can.

Greens were recently aerated. It was necessary, they still played good. Tee boxes, PLEASE water them in the afternoon or add more sand. It is almost impossible to tee up the ball without a hammer.

Some of the fairways are under repair. Not bad enough to really hurt having a good round. But enough to only give 4 stars instead of five overalls. Biggest pain in the backside are the golf carts and the OVER-RESTRICTIVE GPS controls! One of the ways to cool off in Texas is driving the cart between tee boxes with distance is at full speed. WAY TOO MUCH governing on their carts now. OK to restrict getting too close to the greens, but they have some par 4 holes with wide fairways as cart path only? Please loosen up the controls!

Course was in great shape. Fairways and rough had plenty of green grass. Greens rolled true, the recent aeration worked. Love the updated course! Plays much better and it appears most of the drainage issues have been addressed. Will return again.

Course was in good shape. VERY GREEN in July! This is very unusual in Texas. A few brown spots on the outside of some of the greens. Did not really affect the play since it was on the outer edges of the greens. Guessing this is damage from the extreme freezing back in February. Even got to tee off 30 minutes early and played the course in reverse Back 9 then Front 9. Appeared to be a small tournament and the starter sent me off on # 10. Awesome experience, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wish I could have known that the fairways had been aerated prior to booking the round. Brought in a friend from out of state and built up the golf courses' improvement since the rebuild. Just made it miserable to play in the heat of the day and not allow carts on the fairways. Now I understand if they were soaking wet fine. But at 4pm in the Texas sun, they were dry and carts should have been allowed. The GPS control of the carts is way too restrictive. Slowing the carts down on long stretches between holes is ridiculous. Some holes that run parallel, the carts are restricted even when you attempt to use the cart path for an errant shot into another fairway.

The Resort is a good golf course. Very challenging and not for the long hitters. Going through some maintenance right now with some temporary tee boxes in place. Greens still in transition but almost done in the process. Couple of more weeks and the greens should be ready for summer.

Came back after a month away, since they aerated the greens. The greens are back in good shape. Surprised they did not mow them on a Saturday. Typically this course has faster greens. NOT today. Too furry and it took away from the experience. The other issue here are the sand traps. You have a five star layout, get some real sand in the traps. The sand is clay and gets too hard. This is not acceptable on a course of this caliber. Additionally, we have easy access to finer sands in this area. Spend the money and get decent fine sand in the traps!

Played this course several times. Getting back into golf after being inactive for a few years, I was looking forward to playing this course again. It did not disappoint me. Fairways in great shape. Greens were a little slow, but that was probably due to the rain that hit yesterday. Most likely they just got behind on mowing as a result.

Only issue are the sand traps. Upgrade the sand to finer grade.

Great, challenging golf course! Several risk/reward opportunities out at the Resort. Greens in excellent shape, nice fairways and tee boxes. Only real issue are the sand traps. Why is the sand so rough and course. A golf course of this caliber needs to have A LOT HIGHER grade of sand! This is a large, metropolitan area with plenty of supply of high grade sand. Add it ASAP!

Course is in excellent condition. Tee boxes were not hard, fairways in great condition for late August. Greens almost back to normal from a recent aeration. Part of the process to keep the greens in shape, I understand.
Quick check in process. Teed offed earlier than my time slot. Stoped a few times for a group ahead of us. But the waiting was reasonable and allowed us to stay hydrated on this 100+ degree day.
Always enjoyed playing out here and now that I am back playing again, this will be on the rotation.
