We enjoyed a pleasant day at Salt Creek. The course could use a course marshal to keep players moving on a busy day. The first 4 holes took us one hour to play and we spent most of that time watching the foursome in front of our twosome creep from one short shot the next as they moved both carts from one ball to another. On the green each member of the foursome putted until they holed the ball like they were playing mini golf.

The course was very wet due to a severe storm in the two days prior to our round. Otherwise, the course was in excellent shape. We took a cart and kept to the cart path as there was some very wet areas of the fairways and rough. Staff and amenities were very nice. Course is challenging for us occasional golfers but the setting is picturesque.
