A private member course located next to The Rouge Park. The Rouge River comes into play on numerous holes with some of the most outstanding par three signature holes one can find. Course, greens and bunker conditions are immaculate, outstanding new clubhouse with exceptional practice facilities. Don’t let the length full you. This is a shot makers course and requires even the long hitters to think there way around. Large greens can make a three club difference depending on the daily pin placements. When visiting be sure to spend time in the Bistro and do not forget to visit the large well equipped pro shop.

Course was very wet. Early spring and reduced rate was in play. Cart path only and understandable considering the course conditions. Greens rolled ok but some had a fair amount of winter kill.

The price was favourable but what you pay is what you get. Only positive for the course was the Greens...they where in good condition. Condition of fairways and tees are less than favourable. If you are an established player find somewhere else to play. One recommendation for the course besides conditioning. Your middle tees are around 6100 yards and your lady tees are in the 5500 range with par fives of 50O yard. A disconnect with your potential clientel.

A lovely day at the Dunes. Excellent Pace of play 4 hours and 5 minutes. Solid layout with two strong finishing holes. A normal Pete Dye design that requires a strong short game as the green areas are elevated with severe run offs. Beautiful setting, lovely clubhouse and a reasonable practice area albeit limited to mats on our day of play.

Course was in good condition. Found the greens large and for the most part with only a gentle roll and on the slow side in comparison to other courses in the area. Good length with generous fairways. There are very few memorable holes. Course could use more carts as a tee time around the noon hour will see 8 to 10 groups waiting for carts and if you want to hit balls at the range....you walk there.

Good Layout in a residential subdivision. Strong greens and good elevations throughout the layout. We drove from Palm Desert which was a lovely drive through the mountain range but be prepared to take 90 minutes.

Be careful when forecast suggest high winds. South course greens very good. Rest of course I woukd give an average rating. Bunkers are below average unless you play mostly public courses. Extremely busy and an afternoon tee time you wait around for a cart 5 minutes before tee time. Range facility may or may not be opened. Lovely pro shop and dining area. Pace of play GPS suggests you are ahead of time, yet our foursome waited on every shot. May be fine if you like rounds that exceed four and a half hours.

Course is well designed. Fairways are a little shaggy. Greens are in excellent condition, fast and a challenge. Bunkers are in poor shape. Small pebbles and you can get sparks from your shots.

Tees could use some work. Greens were slow and had some weak areas. Bunkers need a lot of work and are not well maintained.
Fair value for the price paid which was after a 2:30 tee time
