Beautiful Challenge
A great layout with very severe and testing green complexes. I always play this with a smile. The greens will grab you at times, but it is a good challenge requiring ah accurate short game. Course has plenty of elevation change and nice views.

One of Best Publics
Delightful course, hard but fair. This is one of the finest courses I play in the US, I am always glad to return to Bayonet/Blackhorse. Even in a wet winter, the course was in excellent shape. The bentgrass surface makes these somewhat unique in the Monterey Pennisula. Talked with an agronomist doing research on the eighth green seeking to keep poa annua from creeping back in.
