They are a victim of Hurricane Nicole - and a big storm on Sunday. Course is muddy and beat up. Greens are in bad shape on a number of holes. Over seeding in the fairways is overwhelming since they haven't been able to mow it.
$49 rate was a nice accommodation for the course condition but we would have rather played a course that was better able to handle the rains.

Course is in great shape. If you like fast greens, these were running 12-13. Course knowledge is key and I was fortunate to get paired with a member.
Great layout, but #10 was a wonderful par 4 - now is a chopped up Par 3. Makes no sense - quite a shame that they made that change. Seems like an easy fix because whatever was planned for the Top of 10 must have fallen through.

Course is in pretty good shape and a good value for that area . Unfortunately a 5 hr round. Marshall on the course but didn’t do a thing. Promised a cart girl but never saw her. Greens were average speed and in nice shape. I’d pay more to play plenty of nicer courses nearby.

5 hour round! Didn’t see a Marshall all day. Saw the cart girl once all day. Course is in very good shape. Hope you like dogleg lefts... there are plenty. Very small greens but rolled well.
The Walker Golf Course at Clemson University

Highly rated college course. Nice layout and some really interesting holes. A little surprised that all the fairways and rough were still dormant and not over seeded, so don't be surprised by all the brown. Greens were a little inconsistent, but not surprising for March upstate SC.

Course was in excellent shape. Loved the design, especially the back nine where 6 or 7 holes wrapped all around a couple of lakes back there. Very enjoyable day.

The Walker Golf Course at Clemson University

Lots of blind shots - first timers should use the map on the scorecard as best you can. No GPS on cart so pretty challenging with all the blind carries. Course is in great shape for late November, greens still really fast. Great design.

Beautiful layout. Lots of elevation changes. Played pretty quickly. Not a walkers course. Greens in great shape and really fast. Challenging but fair. Use the GPS hints!

The course had been aerated the day before. They told golf now in advance but it didn't make it to the website . We played anyway. Course is very challenging with water and hazards on almost every hole. Traps were mostly all washed out due to recent rains and several holes had standing water in traps and a few fairways. Very nice staff . Greens were playable but slow with a lot of sand top dressing ...
