Northern Meadows is a absolute gem. I am a bit biased as we decided 4 years ago to build a property on the course but none the less - we still love the place.
The course can play tough but fair. Be prepared to roll some puts with some difficult reads. The layout does play easier for the long hitter - recommend long hitters and anyone below a 12 back up to the gold tees. It can play very long from the tips as the wind always blows in SK.
It is an excellent value and has on site RV park and cabins. Highly recommend organizing a family vacation in the Meadow Lake Provincial Park along with some golf, fishing and boating.

We enjoyed the day on the South coarse. Very generous off the tee however the greens and bunkers can and will cause some heartburn. Played on a hot deal from Golf Now at $75. Any more cost it may have cause some concern as it is not a >$100 coarse. Overall good day of golf combined with the convenience of staying at the resort work well for our boys trip.

We played this coarse as an opening round on a boys trip. Very easy layout - parkland style. Greens were the highlight with some tough downhill putts. Nothing too sexy about the layout and plenty of safe areas to bail out for poor shots. Looks like a coarse that could use more trees and danger brought into play. Back nine was more enjoyable with some more elevation but very "un-memorable" coarse as I struggle to remember most holes ...maybe it was the beer.
