In fairness we only got through 6 holes before we were rained out. We got a tee time on a Saturday with cart for $30. The greens were in great shape and most of the fairways leading up to green in good shape. The overall shape of course was not visually pleasing. Cart paths were non existent, and overall ambience of course lacking for me. I think they are trying to improve the course based on what I see of the greens and around it. I will give it another shot when weather is better

Worst course I've played in a long time. Really should just be torn down. Tee boxes trash, fairways trash layout 1920s trash. I'd rather quit the game than play this course again.

Kudos to the maintenance staff. The course has been in great shape all year.

This was the 2nd time playing Turnberry. I have played it on the weekend for $69 and it is not worth that price. Today i played it midweek early morning with cart for $38 which is a great price. Its funny how the price alone makes you like or dislike a golf course. I remember the first time playing it i did not want to come back. Gave it another shot and for the $38 price tag it was worth it. The course was in great shape. the greens were pretty quick but mostly due to lack of rain recently.

Schaumburg golf course is in great shape. The only issues i ever have there are with clubhouse staff. The majority are friendly and helpful and others just seem salty and not very friendly. I walked in today and didnt have my mask on. It was mentioned to me they still require masks. Yet the staff didnt have masks on or they were on their chin. Im 6 ft away from everyone, they have plexiglass between register and patrons, letd get over the mask thing already. Uts like sponges in cups. Seriously who is sitting around in congress saying you know what sponges saves lives. I can touch anything i want in the clubhouse but god forbid i toch a flagstick. I believe spinges are finally out now at schaumburg so that is splendid. If anyone is wondering if i got my vaccine, the answer is yes. Got my shingles shot yesterday.

I played this course 8 or so years ago. The course was in good shape. We got rained out after 12 holes. The 2 main negatives i have are, 1. no gps, 2. range balls are not free. The green fees are $75 so i would expect gps and range balls for that rate.

I never complain about pin placement on a muni course considering I'm far from a pro. I am a 11 handicap though and so I normally make it through around keeping proper score. #16 pin placement on Thursday morning was just plain ludicrous and the people cutting the lawn that never play golf should be trained on proper pin placement or just leave it to the head greenskeeper. The part of the green where this flag run literally had the ball rolling back at your feet regardless of the speed of the putt. and there was no bail out. once again I never complain but this one was plain stupid.

If your a 25+ handicap and are near the area i guess it may be worth it of you can get it for $25 or so. I drove from orlando area and it was not worth the drive imo. The condition was similar to forest preserve courses i play in illinois for about 30 bucks. It was fine for my first time out in awhile. But i would not bring my foursome out here

The greens were unplayable. I was not told of their condition before play which would have at least provided me the option of playing. The ranger made nothing but excuses that the harsh winter conditions caused the issue. I played harmony preserve a couple days earlier and the greens their were great. I had a good experience the first time I played providence. This time was an unfortunate experience. The ranger also stated the rates were discounted from $90 to $45. I can assure anyone this is not a $90 course. It's a fun course to play and $45 when the greens are playable and maybe worth up to $55 in the right condition.
