This course has an excellent layout. All of the holes are pleasing to the eye. You have to think about every shot. But none of the shots are intimidating. There are a couple of great risk/ reward holes.#16 is really fun. The greens have large pronounced hills and breaks in them. The conditions were good and the staff was really friendly. It's rare to see such a well designed course in south Florida. This was the best cause I have played in a long time.

5 hour round. Waited on every hole.

The reason is that the property is owned by the marriott . When they have large conferences at the hotel you have groups that take up the entire morning and back up the course. If you can get a tee time on a day that isn't super busy you will have fun.

The course layout was good and fun. the condition was nice. The best part was the chilled hand towels at the turn. I would play there again, but I would make sure it was early or on a day that wasn't busy with bus loads of conference goers.

The good

-The tee boxes were immaculate.
-The fairways were immaculate.
-The greens were nice to chip on and putt on.
-The staff was friendly.
-The practice range, putting green, and chipping area were all good.

The bad
-The course layout was a little boring. There weren't any memorable holes or shots you had to make.
-The practice bunker had 5 inches of fluffy sand in it. The bunker on the course had 1/2 inch of sand with dirt under it. This led to a lot of thinned shots until I realized the sand was just for show. (there was a lot of rain lately so maybe this was why)
-The greens were really firm. Any approach shots that were low would bounce and roll a lot. I didn't see any ball marks on the greens.
- On a hot day I didn't see a cart girl once.
-The snack shop only had hot dogs and sandwiches despite the gps screen showing cheeseburgers and fries. For such a nice place you would have expected a little more.

Overall it was a nice experience. Luckily I got to play at a discounted rate. But I wouldn't go back because the layout was just too plain.
