This course offers a fair test of golf for shorter hitters. Very nice layout with subtle slopes on the greens. The most noticeable thing about this course is the great condition it is in. This course offers fairways that have enough grass for the ball to set on top of the grass. The greens are the best in the area without paying $100+ to play. Truly the best moderate priced course in the area.

When I arrived, the person at the pro shop desk asked if I was told that the greens had been aerated two weeks before and that they were not healed yet. She also told me that the Nicklaus course was closed for aeration. I replied that I was not aware of the situation. Golf Now should have alerted me. Since I had already spent $25 on cab fare to get there, I went ahead and played. I expected more for the price of $159. Loved the course and the layout. Golf Now should have done better. It’s obvious now that there was a reason that my friend and I were the only people on the course.

This new course is in great shape. The greens have some undulations. The greens were rolling true, though not overly fast. The staff is very friendly and always asking if you’re enjoying yourself. Highly recommend this course

The course was in really good shape. The greens were very good and rolled smoothly. The rest of the course was in very good condition also. I highly recommend. A great value.

This was my first time at the golf course. Compared to the golf courses in southern Colorado, this course is in wonderful shape. The fairways were nearly perfect, except for some drainage work going on #2. The greens had been aerated 2-3 weeks before. They were a little bumpy, but should be great by the end of the Month. The rough was lush and thick. Great layout with water everywhere. This has now become one of my favorite courses.

Being from Colorado, it was a treat to play on the lush dense grass of Arizona National. The course was in good shape from tee to green. The greens could have been a little quicker, but it was late in the day, so I'm sure the greens had grown and gotten a little furry. Personnel were friendly and willing to help. No real complaints and I would play this course when I'm in Tucson again.

Great challenging course. Narrow fairways with many elevation changes. Greens had just been aerated a week or so before, but the grens were recovering nicely. Conditions were soft, making the course play longer. Great experience.

I expected better conditions for a golf academy course. The fairways were ok but not very lush. The greens weren't as nice as an executive course I played two days before.
