This was the first time we played. I thought there was a good mix of wide and narrow fairways. Fairways were cut nicely and there were a lot of trees which ups the challenge of shot placement. Greens were in great shape . Yes we would play again.

We started before our time and our 3rd as on time. Pace was great then slowed at 5. Then we were 2 tees backed up at 6. And it got even slower after that! We made the turn and some how 6 carts went to the 10th tee in front of us and we asked the starter what the heck was going on! He was young and had no answer. After us complaining the new manager told the 12 to wait till we tee’d off. But it got even slower. They need some fairway bunkers and leave the second cut longer. They are removing so many trees that the difficulty is lessening!!! Just my 2 cents.

it was a beautiful day to play golf in October. The course was beautiful as usual. The tees were pretty beat up but he rest of the course was still in great shape.

Course is in pretty bad condition. Tees are in rough shape, better to hit out of rough than the fairway and the greens are very slow. Why to much money for a round.

This is a course that challenges your distance and Precission. A few holes of water, several holes of marsh and a lot of woods to keep you honest. No dry spots on this course, they spend a lot of time water to keep it soft. Tees are fantastic, fairways play beautifully and the greens are challenging for sure! We will be back!!!

Tees were a little sandy to hit off of. Some of the women’s tees were all sand and not well taken care of. Fairways and rough were nice to play from. Greens appeared to have just been top dressed and very slow. No ball marks on the greens but the ball seemed to stay. Hard to judge were you landed to where you ended up! Staff was very friendly!!! I’d play here again!

Beautiful course to play. Very challenging and tight fairways . Water on many holes, no gators yet. Greens seemed fast early then slowed a bit early afternoon. Nicely maintained and friendly staff. We will be back!

Very nice course to play. Only 1 gator and that was by the cart return. Tess are in ok shape, fairways a little hard right now but cut very wide. Greens are in very good condition, nice and fast at the start then slowed a bit towards to end. We will be back!!!

The staff was very friendly from start to finish. Course was a bit dry, tees were hard, greens wouldn't stick so it made the approach very difficult. Beautiful day, great layout and the beverage cart was constant!

Love playing Petrifying Springs. Great course with awesomely undulating greens. Just really dry right now and hard to get a divot. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Very well kept public course. A lot less trees this year then last due to ash bores. But still a great course.

The course itself is nice but due to dry conditions the fairways were being actively watered as we played. It hasn't rained in the area in several days. Winds were very high and made a great challenge. Tee boxes were dry and hard. Greens were short and fast. Overall it's a good course to play. Tees with the wind went as far as 380 yards for me.

Very nice public course in great shape. Fairways cut perfectly, rough was challenging, traps were a little hard but able to get under the ball, greens were fairly quick. Don't read into a break as much as you think. The Superintendent is doing a fantastic job on this course. If you get the chance to play it, do so! Expect delays on food orders. A little slow in the kitchen.

Nice course, wet in mid March. Cart path only, right fairways little sand, Great Greens. I'd play it again!!!

We were able to get 9 in mid afternoon. Nice course, no flat greens, rough is coming out of dormancy, cart path only with all the rain they have gotten so unless you like to walk presision is your best option. No gators lying around,,,,,,,,, yet.

I have played this course many times before and I have to say it's in the best shape I've ever seen. The tees are alittle uneven but soft for driving. Fairways are perfect for hitting off of. The greens are in the right shape for landing a good (or bad) shot from the fairway. They don't just hit and roll off and speedy for your putts. Wide fairways with hardwoods surrounding the perimeter, water on several holes, good elevation challenges on several holes and not over done with sand traps. Well watered, no dormant grass on this course. Great Golf!!!
