Course was in good overall shape and fairly well maintained. Big issue for us was pace. We had to wait 20 minutes past our tee time on the first hole, then the rest of the round took about 4.5 hours, making for about a 5 hour round. At 8 am, it wouldn’t be a surprise, but with a 3:30 pm tee time, that’s a bit brutal.

Half the course was closed down due to flooding (cants change the weather, so no complaints there) so they decide to jam the same amount of golfers as when the entire course is open on the back 9. The result: an ton of waiting on a course that is not nice enough to wait around on.
Clearly they hadn’t accounted for who would be playing 9 holes and who would play 18, because after the first 9 there was a huge mix of golfers making the turn and just starting their round waiting and trying to figure out who was up. What a mess. Left half way into the second turn, mad at myself for wasting the money.
