Chardonnay Golf Club

Good course design with great views. Everything was good except for the bunkers which just need sand. Would definitely play here again.
Eagle Vines Golf Club
Played On 11/04/2023Great golf courses.
I thought the course was in line for the cost. Tee boxes to greens were all in good shape. One thing I did enjoy about playing Eagle Vines was the receptiveness of the greens. Most courses in the bay region have very hard greens with some pace making it difficult to keep approach shots on the green unless you hit the ball really high or with a significant amount of spin. These greens would hold a good shot just about from any distance, but did putt a little slow. Overall, everything about this course was enjoyable. I will definitely play again when in the area.
Carmel Valley Ranch Resort
Played On 10/15/2023Excellent golfing experience!
This course is spectacular and worth the effort to get there if you’re considering a trip to Monterey. Fantastic scenery, fun layout for golfers of all levels from if playing from the correct tees, and meticulously manicured from the tee boxes through the greens. I only wish I lived closer so I could play more often. You will not be disappointed.

The Wilderness At Fortune Bay
Played On 08/29/2015PGA quality course!
Expect to be treated well when arriving at the golf course. Someone is their to meet you with a cart and load your clubs if you need assistance. The practice range is included with your fee, so hit as many balls as you like. The course is spectacular!!! It had rained several days before I arrived, so it was cart path only and the fairways where swallowing up the golf balls, so playing from the championship tees made the course very LONG. I would recommend taking note of the course condition before choosing your tee box. Everything about the course was top notch. Tee boxes where perfectly level, and roughs and fairways where beautifully maintained with no reason to try to improve your lie. The greens rolled true and just the right speed. (around 10 I would guess) All carts where provided an upgraded GPS system which is one of the best I have seen. I would recommend this course to anyone who loves the game of golf. I travel for a living, and play all over the country. This course rates right with the best.
Baileyton Golf Club
Played On 09/01/2014Average course for small town.
Like most golf courses, available finances determines quality of play. This course has the layout available for a nice course, but lacks the funds to take it to the next level. The course management works hard with what they have to make it playable. The tee boxes are level, and the fairways have roughly 75% bermuda and the rest junk grass. They are line with a rough to add somewhat of a golf course feel, but the course itself is relatively wide open. Just grip it and rip it. The greens are very small, but in good shape. And they do have a couple of challenging par 3's. Overall, not a waste of money, but you want be wowed.
Nolichucky View Golf Club
Played On 08/23/2014Good course for size of city.
Like most small city courses, this one has good potential but just lacks the funds needed to help it step up to the next level. Tee boxes are level, fairways are defined with rough, sand traps, and some water, and greens are in good shape. The layout is enjoyable making for some challenging shots into the fairways and greens if you play from the tips. Otherwise, the course is fairly easy do to it's generous fairways and overall length. The only real downside would be the pace of play and value for your money. If you play on the weekend, you can anticipate a 5 hour round do to it being the best show in town and a $32 green fee including cart for 18 holes..
do they allow 5 somes?
Graysburg Hills Golf Course - Fodderstack
Played On 08/16/2014Fantastic course for the money.
Nothing but good things to say about this course. Use to playing on high caliber courses and this one fits the bill. Beautiful layout, fantastic condition, and challenging for any level of golfer. I usually judge a courses condition by how many times I need to roll my ball to improve its lie when in the fairway. With this course, you don't need to touch your ball when in play. Greens are good size and receptive to a well played shot. Lots of beautifull tee shots from the tips make for a fun afternoon. Excellent value for the money. Want dissapoint.
