Due to the rain of the last several weeks the course was soft. We enjoyed the variety of holes. Each hole was unique.

The rough swallows balls and the greens are slippery so if you don't like losing a couple of balls and three putting a couple of times this course is not for you. BUT it is pretty and challenging with a variety of design features. Play it and enjoy!

I was met by the Starter and put on the Spruce instead of the Dogwood nine. I think he did that to get me onto the course quicker than playing on the course I thought I would be playing. I played the front nine alone in about 11/2 hours. And the back nine in about 2 hours even though I had a two foursomes in front of me and a foursome behind me. I was impressed by the pace of play. I'm going back to this course because it was fair and challenging.

The course is in good condition and has some very challenging holes. The view from several holes is spectacular. For a non resident the value is excellent.

The greens were being aerated and the course was still a pleasure to play. It's a fair test of golf with a variety of challenges including length, water, slope and rough. My wife and I played the course in a little over 3 hours. It was a slow autumn day.

I loved the variety of the course. It was slow going because of the surrounding beauty of the mountains. If you didn't stop to enjoy the scenery it would be OK; BUT, you would have definitely missed one of the great ascetics of golf.

This course is always in good condition. The pace of play was great considering that many beginners play it. It is mostly par threes which can slow play.
I have recommended this course to friends.
