We played this course for the first time yesterday. It was a truly great experience. After a safe check-in, we were kept apprised of our tee time status by the friendly starter. There were a few times that we had to wait on holes, but the round took just over 4 hours for our foursome. The course was in great shape for November 10th. It was unseasonably warm, and very windy at times. Staff was working on leaf removal the whole time. Greens were great. A little firm, but would hold. Fairways were great. A really fun track staffed by friendly people.

Tried to play this course a week earlier, but they got 4" of rain the night before and the course had flooded. We found the course to be in excellent condition and no standing water, although it was wet in quite a few places. The fairways were good. The greens were fast and had quite a bit of slope on them. Some of the greens were a little thin, but not too bad. Staff was friendly. Price was very fair.

The State of Ohio exhumed this course for one more year without actually spending any money. The State should be ashamed of what they have done to a nice course. This is a nice layout right on the Ohio River.
They are mowing the fairways narrower to save mowing dollars.

Staff are doing their best in a bad situation.
I want some of my tax dollars to keep this course up to snuff. Come on Ohio. This course is worth keeping the way it should be.

We were the first group out on the course on a Friday morning so had great pace of play.
The course was in excellent condition. The greens were firm and fast. They rolled very nice.
No complaints. Probably a little more than I would pay for an everyday round, but worth it for a vacation.

Got there early in the morning and were the first group out for the day. They had received a couple inches of rain the night before and were cartpath only.
Got the senior rate. The staff was very friendly.
The course is stunning. It was in great condition. On a great piece of land. I would play again in a minute.

We were a twosome playing on a weekday morning. The course was in good shape. However the greens were pretty hard and fast. They were not receptive to high shots that should have held.

Overall a good experience.

We got there in the afternoon after a scramble had just finished and were the only group on the course! What a great layout. Nice topography. Large greens.
The greens had been recently punched so were still recovering from that and were pretty slow. But overall this is a great value.
I would play this course again in a heartbeat!

I have bee going on an outing to this course for 21 years. It is a shame that the State of Ohio has decided they do not want to operate golf courses. The contractors they have hired to operate the course seem to have no idea of what they are doing.
