I have played Connemara earlier in the year and didn't really enjoy the course. They have changed the layout of some of the holes #1 and #15, and that seemed to help reduce the number of blind shots. The fairways and sand traps are always in good shape there, but they did have a couple of greens that had been damaged by the weather conditions. I have to say that I enjoyed the round and the price was great. I will go back again soon.

Everything was in great condition. Greens, fairways and sand traps all in great condition. Course layout was good with very few blind shots. The course has fewer sand traps and water that come into play than most the area courses, but for an average golfer like me it was great. On the top of my list to replay next time in Hilton Head.

Some of the greens were in poor shape, GPS system was no help because we were playing cart path only, and almost all the sand traps were wet and hard packed. It maybe a fine course in the spring or fall but would not recommend playing it this summer.

Sand traps had no sand, just dirt and rocks. The course is a Pete Dye designed course and have a number of interesting hole layouts, but was in poor overall condition. I would not recommend driving very far to play this course.

Greens were covering with sand, rough and impossible to putt on. Fairways were wet and had very little grass. I would not recommend this course.

Purchased "All you can" deal and play 27 holes. Got two buckets of balls and lunch for $45. Good Deal! Course play was slow but in good conditions. Will play again.

Will plan on playing again when in the area. Greens and sand traps were in great condition. Likely the course layout. Would like to have had a GPS on the cart to help with the distances. The staff was helpful and the pace of play was good. We didn't have a wait on any of the holes. We played from the white tees, if I played again I would play from the blue. There was water on most holes and more information (like a GPS) on distances would have been very helpful.
