Golf is my escape from reality. I seek places to play that are peaceful and quiet. Lake Arrowhead fits the bill, expectations met. Scenery is absolutely gorgeous, and the drive is not bad at all, traffic is not an issue anytime of the day. Hitting smart shots is a requirement, blindly driving off every tee box will put you out of bounds, and the ball out of sight. If you miss the fairway you will lose balls, TAKE EXTRA BALLS! Greens are slow, and approach shots stick like glue, I mean that in a good way, if you skip one across these greens it didn't deserve to stay there anyway. I played on Wed and Thurs 11:00 to 15:00, went most of the holes without seeing, or hearing another soul, exactly what I look for when playing golf. And lastly, if slow greens are not your cup of tea go somewhere else to play, personally I love it when a not so well struck ball stays on the green. Two thumbs up, will go again and again when I'm in the area.

9 &18 can quickly ruin a good score. Advice: stay right on 9 and left on 18
