Tara Greens Golf Center - Pitch 'N Putt
Played On 08/01/2017Horrible shape, Cheap greens fees
Greens are rock hard, fairways are rock hard, rough is rock hard, i hit a PW on to the green and it bounced 25 feet in the air.
No drinking water on the course. There was no difference between the rough and fairway, it was just weeds everywhere.
On the plus side, the carts are fast, nobody was on the course, and it was 13 dollars to pay, a good place for a first time golfer who has no comparison to another course.
Suneagles Golf Club
Played On 08/14/2015Good layout, horrible shape
The entire course had weeds on it including the greens and sand traps. I wouldn't play this course again if it cost $10. Apparently no one owns the course currently and it shows. There is no reason to play this course until there is a new owner.there are to many other nice courses in the area. I did like the layout, this place could be very nice.
Old Orchard Country Club
Played On 05/18/2015Fun course
This course plays nice from the blues. It's driver then wedge, but a full wedge which is nice compared to a lot of courses that are driver then half swing.
Lakewood Country Club
Played On 05/11/2015Stick to Monmouth county
Fairways were decent, greens were pretty bad, I took a cart, the cart was one of the fastest I've ever rode but there was no path just serious bumps everywhere, I should have walked...if you must play ocean county you must play eagle ridge. Better in every aspect. I will never return to this piece of cake course. Every par 4 was driver then half a wedge. No fun.
“Hello. Thank you for playing Tara Greens. Our staff continually aims for improving the playing conditions of the course. As we are relatively new to the course and just started managing the facility in April, we are currently focusing on improving greens, tees, fairways and bunkers. We hope that you return to give us another chance as we continually improve the conditions of the course. Thank you. - Alexa C. of appliedgolf management at Tara Greens”
