We played on a Saturday and it was busy, thus the pace was slow. It was extremely hot and muggy so lots of liquids were needed. The beverage cart was slow and the tub on the front name did not have water. The course itself was in good shape and challenging. Because of the pace of play it was a long afternoon. That said I would go back again.

We made the drive from Hilton Head to Lady's Island to play and it was worth the trip. The lady at the pro shop was friendly and enthusiastic. The course was in good shape although I found the greens a bit uneven for putting. We would certainly come back at this price. A side trip back to Beaufort was a good way to end the day.

It was my first time playing at Pinecrest and I enjoyed the experience. I played the geren tees which made the round even more enjoyable since I was not always hitting woods or long irons into most of the greens. Even though I would be capable of playing the whites, I tend to play to have fun and try to make some birdies - which I did. I also broke 80 which is makes more a pleasant round. We paired up with another couple after 8 holes and enjoyed their company.

It was our first time playing and we were paired up with another twosome who were quite delightful to play with. They have had a lot of rain and the coarse was wet. It was well set up and pleasing to the eye. The greens were extremely fast up to the point that they were like cement and the ball would not make a mark of hold usually. But to be fair they rolled true but a beginner would probably have a tough time.

We got paired up with 2 other golfers who made up a great foursome. The 4 of us played the 4 different tees, from farthest back to shortest. On the 11th our drives were within 10 yards ,so we were all playing the correct yardage. The course was in good shape and we enjoyed a fine day on the course and afterwards on the 19th hole.

We were very impressed with this golf course. Although it can play very tough, if you play the right tees it is a fair test of your game. There are numerous forced carries and if you go off the fairway, finding your shot is almost non-existant, but again playing the correct yardage is key to your enjoyment. We will look forward to our games here this week.

My partner and I were paired up with a very nice couple. We had a great time. The greens were very difficult for any type of handicaps. You need to be quite accurate off the tees to give yourself a chance to hit a good approach. you would need to play this course several times to get the speed and slopes of the greens. The greens are packed and rolled very tight so they do not hold, you need to realize this when hitting your approach. If you are long and acuurate off the tee plus have a good putting stroke, you could score well.

We enjoyed our game of golf at this course. We were not paired up but the two of us played in under 4 hours. We thought that for the money we paid the course would be better - meaning the fairways were chewed up and not in pristine shape. The greens were fairly slow and not up to the standard of what you paid for. It is a good course but I would say overpriced compared to other courses that cost the same. The location and clubhouse were excellent and the staff very helpful. The sandwiches at the turn were also very good.

We always enjoy playing here. There is a nice variety of holes and the staff is always friendly.

They let us on early, since we were only two. We hardly saw anyone in front of us, so being fast players, it was very enjoyable.

We were met at the bag drop and the staff was very friendly from the time we got there. The course is always is good shape. Today the greens were slower than usual - it appeared they had not been cut that day. Some of the bunkers were not as consistent as others. Overall it was a great day of golf with friends !

We had a great time. The course is beautiful and challenging. The greens were being overseeded(which I knew) so the rating is lower than if they were in prime condition. Definitely want to return.

We had a great exxperience. The course was a lot of fun to play and the greens were good. The starter was friendly and after in the bar we had a great time. We will be back.

The whole golfing experience was enjoyable, from the pro shop to the starter to the marshall, all were super friendly and helpful. It is a wonderful course to play and I could play there everyday.

We only played 4 holes and were rained out. The staff generously gave us rain checks. The greens had just been cored, so it was not fun putting on the holes we played. I guess you should always phone before booking a time.

They had had a lot of rainfall and the course was very soggy. It was carts only on the cart paths for good reasons. Hardly anyone was on the course that day. The greens though were very playable and we had an enjoyable round. All staff was very friendly and stored our clubs for play the next day.
