Lane Creek Golf Club

Fairways and greens are always in good shape.
No bathrooms on course. The tee boxes need work. The cart paths are horrible. Not enough yardage markers. Not a fan of the layout. It’s normally $32 in the week which is worth that but I would not pay anything more. There are cheaper and better courses within 30 minutes of Athens.

The cart paths are horrible. It’s not very well marked as far as distances. Even on the par 3’s.
I’m not a fan of the layout. The tee boxes need work. The fairways are in good shape and the greens are good but a little bumpy. No bathrooms on the course. All of these problems could be fixed easily with a little time money and effort. It’s always packed so I’m not sure where the money is going. It’s not horrible for $32 but there are several other options within an hour that are cheaper and nicer.

Great course from tee box to green. I love everything about it. The back 9 is very getable if you can keep it straight. Best course in the area and I don’t think it’s close.
Providence Club

Greens were fast and true. Fairways and tee’s were in great shape. Great layout. I would highly recommend. Great price as well.

It’s not fantastic by any means buys it’s a good layout except for a few holes. Greens and fairways were in good shape. The tee boxes needed work.
Pine Hills Golf Club

If you can’t find anyone to play with and don’t want to go the range. This course will do fine. It’s super cheap and was not crowded. The tee boxes and fairways are like a cow pasture but it’s manageable. The greens are the worst I’ve ever seen. Slow and bumpy does not describe it. It’s like putting in your yard but worse. It’s a good place to practice tee shots and iron shots but you might as well pick up when you get to the green.
