We had a beautiful day for golf so it was not all bad. The staff was very friendly but the course is declining each time I play it. The greens have suffered a
fungus that is destroying the turf. The traps were not well raked and sadly, the overall condition has deteriorated a lot. The waterfalls which were a signature feature were not working, and there was a lot of debris in the waters.
In my opinion the greens fee is somewhat high for the condition of the course.

We generally play private courses But since we did not want to drive an hour and a half to play a Signature Gold course, I started looking locally. Since Azelea City had 4 star rating and price was very reasonable my husband and I decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise. This is a full course, a few challenges, nice greens and fairways. A few bald spots if your ball gets a little away from you, but overall, a great course. The ladies locker room was nicer than some private clubs. Would definitely play this course again.
