The course was in beautiful shape . Has just reopened from over seading . Cart path only but a great day. Staff was great and restaurants were busy .

Get to use a lot of wedge shots and shaping tee shots . Bunkers are well placed . Greens are great . Doing work on the remodel of the club house so that is a little inconvenient but will be nice when complete . Very putting course was now complete and fun to practice with .

Teed off every early so the 2 groups our 3some followed moved along steady . Tee boxes were good and well marked . Fairways were a little crusty . Greens were a little crusty in spots but firm to the roll . Sand boxes were in hard pan and a deffinate penalty to be in .

Course in excelant shape , narrow fairways with left and right doglegs to test our golf skills . Greens have just enough undulations to test green reading skills and firm enough to test your speed putting skills . Grounds are well kept and the marshall keeps the group's moving at a nice pace .

The tee boxes ,clubhouse , fairways and greens were emaculate . Fairways were title but the course is laid out so you need to manage your way around . Having the ability to play both fade and draw shots will be helpfull here . The greens are relatively small and guarded with well manicured sand traps and water features . The putting surfaces are smooth and the ball rolls true . Fairways are are nicely cut and the second cut is just high enough that you can still get the club on it . very well kept .will play again

Been playing for the last 7 weeks and each week the course has improved the greens and fairways. The sand traps are in disrepair . 3 fairways are in need of over seeding , small pebbles left from the construction . Hoping for continued improvement. .

Played early morning. Web site for tahquitz is good. Course has forgiving wide fairways. Greens putt good and are challenging. Sand trap I was in had good sand. Lots of good chatter coming from the 19th hole. Nice older original Palm springs course, give it shot.
