HTG3

I played Royal Lakes today with a couple of friends. Even though we had rain just a day ago the course was in very good shape. There were some soggy spots around some of the greens and some wash out and standing water in a couple of the traps, but overall everything was in good shape. I wish more people would repair their ball marks but that seems to be a problem everywhere.
Although my group was playing slow due to a new golfer in our group, other golfers playing up to us were very considerate and we let them play through with as little delay as possible

Actually after completing the front nine, I am surprised that they even allowed play. Some of the fairways were absolutely a muddy mess and even walking on the fairways seemed to damage the sod and the divots from previous golfers left deep craters which were left unfilled even though every cart contained sand.
This might be a nice course during the growing season so this review only has to do with current conditions.
