after a few initial basic/straightforward holes, some really pretty, challenging ones come up - 6-8 and most of the back. And for NJ, some elevation. Only complaints, greens are acceptable, but sand traps are quite poor. Probbably due to the rain, but still, run a machine and rake em up, they are hardpan mud. Fairly easy to walk except for 2 holes with long walks and hills and some of the walks between hoes really need signs. We met up with other people on two occasions teeing off on our hole which they did not belong on. Will definitely be back

forgetting about staff, off course amenities etc., comes down to the course conditions. And granted the price was amazing with golfnow….actually looked into memebership while waiting to tee off. But then I got out.. Tee to green was great - even the rough, was fair. But those sandtraps - just plain unacceptable. I lost count, but most were basically lakes and what was worse. iif your ball wound up in them, you couldn't find it as the lake was so large and dirty you had no clue where to look and no means to get them out. We even tried rakes but again, no idea where to use them.. Those few traps that had some "sand" exposed were hard, rocky and basically unplayable. I look forward to coming back after a week or so of dry weather and hopes of them improving those conditions.. I know its rained a lot, but even our county courses don't have water and real sand.

first time, and with the golfnow promotion, couldn't pass it up. Course was in pretty good condition except not one tee box was in reasonable shape. Greens were a little slow, didn't seem to be mowed that day. Course is rather flat, no dramatic holes, but some interesting doglegs that if you dont' know correct layout up distances, your dead. A lot of holes really need to drive straight, not to much forgiveness. Will go back with another golfnow deal.
