Played today on the recommendation from a friend at work. When I arrived at the course at 6:15 there was no one in the pro shop. In fact it took another 45 minutes before anybody showed up. Tee boxes were very good, very good, greens were in great shape. There were some tee boxes that you had to walk up a steep slope and could be slippery. Course could use some directional signage in better areas. Actually drove right by the tenth tee box and went to the pro shop area thinking that's where the tenth hole started but it was directly behind the ninth green. Also could have used some trimming on some trees as they were literally overhanging on a few tee boxes.

I have played this course several times and have enjoyed coming back. My only gripe and this is almost every time I've come here are the tee boxes which a lot of them are domed on the front and back ends which gives you a lot of uneven stances. The greens are good but could be a little bit better. A lot of bare looking spots on some of them.

First time playing here today. Tee boxes were decent, fairways were good and greens were nor bad at all. Where this place lacked today for me was the bunkers. I was in a few traps throughout my round and one bunker I was in had no sand in it and was complete hard pan. Another bunker I ended up in had sand in it and I got the ball out with no problem. Just put a little work into the bunkers and this is not a bad course at all.

Have heard some good things about this course and not so good. The top tracer on the range was kinda cool. But they do need to start replacing the range balls that are getting lots of marks on them.

The staff was awesome from inside the pro shop to being greeted outside when my round started. The greens are tricky if you are on the wrong side of the hole.

The not so good is most of the tee boxes need lots of work. Some uneven lies and lots of divots on most of them. I mean I expect that on a course that gets a lot of play but more could be done. The bunkers are an absolute joke. Every single one of them had no sand in and were rock hard.

I would come back as the pace of play was just under three hours. You add some sand to the bunkers and this place would be really cool.

This is my 2nd time playing Apache Wells. I like this course a lot. Was recommended by a friend I work with. The only gripe I have about playing this course for the 2nd time is getting a notification when I got to the course and checking in that it was a shotgun start. I've never experienced in my life a daily fee golf course doing this way of starting. I wasn't truly upset by it but a little warning when I booked the time on golf now would have been appreciated. Otherwise the course is in great shape and looked fantastic.

Was recommended to this place by someone I played golf with last week. And he was not wrong. Awesome warm-up facilities, to include the driving range chipping area and putting green. Could also not pass up the rate. Most courses in the area are anywhere between 80 and $100 a round even right now. This is a steel at $48. Only complaint I will have and this is minimal, is how slow the greens were. It looked as though they were cut but they were still extremely slow. Will definitely come back and play again.

I played the Palms/Sonoran route. Inside staff was friendly and the starter was even better. From the practice putting green to the tee boxes, the fairways, and the greens were all very good. The holes go through a housing community as well as desert areas. So if you go right or left you can get into trouble. Would definitely go back.

First time ever playing here. Yes, it is a little pricey but wanted to try it out anyway. Great views of the surrounding area. Teeboxes needed a little work, especially the par threes with all of the divots. Fairways were nice, bunkers were nice, and the greens were a little slow but otherwise in good condition. Just need to teach people how to fix ball marks. Pace of play was good as well. I must’ve seen three different marshals throughout the day.

I have played this course once in the past. That was five months ago. Between then and now it has drastically not gotten good. Greens were absolutely terrible today. Lots of places on the course looks like they had overwatered. I enjoy the layout but the greens definitely need some work along with the par 3 tee boxes which are just basically divots filled with sand. A couple were ok but a couple were terrible.

Very flat course but also a very good layout. Some of the greens had patchy areas where it was almost dirt but they putted pretty good otherwise. Overall I am very happy that I came down to play. Would definitely come back.

Good mix of holes. Opening hole makes you think(dog leg right with water a good 245 yards down on the right side). Most of the tee boxes are severely uneven. Lots of humps and bumps on most of them. They really need to be redone. Greens are ok. Some blotchy areas on them.

Booked through the golfnow app. Course was in good condition for coming back from their overseed. Greens were very furry and you really needed to hit any putt uphill harder than normal.

I understand that they are getting ready to overseed and leting the course dry out but i don't think i had a decent lye in the fsirway. Greens were rock hard and di didn't hold even the best of shots. I will play again just not so close to overseed.

Course was recommended by a friend. Basically a straight forward course. What you see is what you get. Would come back and play it again.

Very cool course. It definitely makes you think. Just cant pull driver out on every par 4 and 5. Pace was good. Greens were good. Bunkers could use some much needed sand(almost hard pan on the ones I was in). Will be back.

Didn't expect much after booking an online rate of $30 and I was right. Staff inside the pro shop was nice. Starter was nice too. But now the disappointment: Range needs lots of work. No where to tee up your driver. Had to step out on the grass. Tee boxes on course were ok. Most of them had tons of weeds growing right in the teeing area. Lots of hardpan areas throughout the course. Fairways were probably the best part of the course. Greens were slow and really fuzzy. Bunkers were somewhat a disappointment as well. But I had to come to see if it would be worth it again and sadly unless someone paid my green fees for me, I probably wont come back.

Course conditions were horrible. No sand at all in the bunkers, Too many dry areas just off the fairways. Greens felt like they hadn't been mowed in days. No attention to detail at all. They shut the kitchen down completely right after I got there for an event. If youre going to do that at least keep the kitchen open for other paying customers. Couldn't order what I wanted. Luckily I was able to get a hot dog.

I have played here before. From my memory not much has changed. Fairways were okay, but getting to them was a nightmare. Very bumpy dried out areas. The greens were probably the best part of the day. Rolled really good.

I played the Zaharias course. Very challenging but the carts are almost worthless. The GPS is great but when the cart hits an incline it slows down to almost nothing. I understand carts have governors for safety reasons but it was almost ridiculous. Even when the cart I was in at one point in the middle of the fairway it told me to get back to the cart path and it still took a long time to get back up to speed.

Greens were in good shape but they were watering everywhere. I had a ton of plugged lies in the fairway and near the greens were even worse.
