What was once a consistently good course to play has now become a disappointing course due to poor conditions. The greens in particular are covered with little clusters of weeds that negatively effect every putt. Tee boxes often resemble sand boxes with little or few patches of grass. I have played this course regularly over the years and this course has never been in such poor shape. I always considered Pine Lakes a top course for cost, layout and playability. Not any longer. The conditions do not warrant the high greens fee and conditions put this course in my penalty box. My buddies and I won't be returning to play Pine Lakes any time soon.

Good course for a par 60. Postage stamp sized greens but in very good condition. Tee boxes need some attention but overall the course is a good play for the money.

I've played Cimarrone many times over the years and found it to be a challenging and enjoyable course. Today's round however, did not meet my expectations. The course was overwhelmed by recent rains, carts on rough only. The fairways had many more soggy spots than normal and made shots more difficult from squishy lies. The greens were recently aerated and putting was a crap shoot. Also, the colored flags on many holes were not properly placed. For example, several holes had red flags placed at the back of the green instead of the front. Missed played shots followed. I will certainly play Cimarrone again in the future but today's round was not the reason I will return on a better day with better conditions.
