Legends Golf Club
Played On 03/29/2019Concrete bunkers
Tarmac in the bunkers. No way to get the club into the sand. Expect to be pitching back to the green from 50 yards.after blading your"splash
Might as well try to hit bunker shots from the cart path.
Greens and fairways nice.
Friars/Presidio at Riverwalk Golf Club
Played On 05/13/2019Course has to find a maintenance crew
What do you call a goat pasture with no goats?
I don't know if it's the maintenance crew's fault it the course owners, but dirt fairways, gravel pits for bunkers, clover fields for rough and lumpy diseased greens with huge divots in the skirts are not enticing.
Cannot recommend. If I die without playing here again, I will still RIP.

Stunning vistas, straight strategic play a must.
Will be back ASAP!
Cresta Verde Golf Club
Played On 08/29/2018The course appears to be shoehorned into the leftover pieces of land between a number of housing developments, which were themselves shoehorned into leftover land in-between the freeways and connectors.
The place is really much more a goat pasture than golf course with occasional patches of greens. Not much grass in the fairways.,. And anywhere off the middle... Forget about it!!!
Funky layout, abundance of ultra short par 4s and randomly hopping (not rolling) greens.
If you like brown, dust, gopher holes, and old tired facilities then go here.
Regulation at Marine Memorial Golf Course
Played On 07/07/2018Gorgeous course
Not a house to be seen!
Fun layout, lots of strategically growing trees!
Greens I decent shape, a bit bumpy late afternoon.
Fairways are lush, bunkers full of sand.
A few tee boxes were uneven and bare, but looks like they are going to be worked on as the course prepares for the Armed forces championships at the end of July!
Very fun day!
