Championship Course at Crosswinds Golf Club

I felt a 4 star rating for this course was way too high. If I had known the actual course conditions, I would never had driven an hour to play this course. The greens were OK, but the fairways were really in poor shape.
Buffalo Creek Golf Course

The staff at this golf course were very helpful and friendly. The course has a lot of holes with a cool layout. It is not in perfect shape but it is very playable, but the greens role pretty slow. Great pace of play.
Atlantic National Golf Club

This course will get after you with incredibly quick greens and many elevated greens to shoot at. Really enjoyed the challenge, but the wind really added a depth of challenge my game wasn’t ready for..... but that’s not the fault of the course. Fairways were in great shape too.

Palm Beach National Golf Course

This course was fun to play but not challenging. Good conditions were good not great. Our cart tried to die the last 4 holes or so because I don’t think they had time to charge it. This course gets a lot of play so that probably explains the average course conditions. If you just want a fun , relatively easy golf course this one’s for you

But a fun, well maintained track. Wide fairways and very friendly staff. Fun golf experience, but not overly challenging......

This course was a pleasure to play. Arnie did a great job with this golf course! Beautiful setting & course was in fantastic condition! Loved everything about it!
Bear Creek Golf Club

It started when the gentleman taking the clubs out of the bag was less than friendly. He actually, at one point, threw my wife's bag down on the ground.........kind of unbelievable actually. The course was nice and the greens were the fastest greens I have ever played on, but all in the course wasn't all that much better than other courses we have played in Hilton Head and the greens fees were considerably higher than other comparable courses. I guess we were paying for the Rees Jones name attached to it. We will not be back to play this course again with so many other wonderful courses to choose from on the island.

Very disappointed in course condition. Staff seemed disinterested -- no welcome, course info before round. Just seemed to be a tired, little rundown golf course.
