Loch Nairn Golf Course
Played On 07/12/2018Tough course: be ready for a challenge !
Not your typical golf course that has wide open fairways and usually straight shots to the greens. Be ready for a challenge; blind shots to the green, layup shots to avoid marshy hazards, lots of trees, etc.
It was in the mid- to high 80's so lots of water coolers on the course was a HUGE PLUS for me. However,
I did not see one portable toilet out on the course. My 4 some are all over age 62, so something the management should consider. Overall, I give Loch Nairn 4.5 stars out of 5... enjoyable round of golf. I'll be back for sure !
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park
Played On 08/31/2017Nice course but.....
WCCGC is a very nicely kept course. Lots of benefits:
unlimited range balls, chipping area, nice putting practice green, electric golf carts, cement cart paths,
GPS range finder on golf carts, and lots of drinking water coolers on the course. This adds up to a lot but why is this course always TOO Expensive to play without a Deal Time ? Also, good knowledge of the course a plus because some holes you have to play short of the hazards in front of you. Overall similar to Rock Manor in price and course design but overpriced for our group compared to Back Creek, Inniscrone, and Moccasin Run.
Loch Nairn Golf Course

Loch Nairn GC was in great shape in August because of all the rain we've had this summer. The fairways and greens are in top notch shape. The Tee boxes need some work but didn't affect our play. Some fairways are narrow but not as bad as I remembered from a couple of years ago. Plenty of water coolers, good thing because it was a hot day, much appreciated. We'll be back for sure....
