Fall golf with brown grass everywhere except the greens. After a rough summer the course is in pretty good shape. Fairways are super bumpy like they never rolled them just grew grass over whatever the topography offered. Sand traps were very well maintained. Sunday 4 1/2 hour round. Cart lady came around several times. Decent course.

The course was severely flooded a week ago so there is a lot of debris on the course in areas. The traps are washed out. They had no cart girl. They have no GPS. The food is great but was closing at 2:30 on a Sunday. The clubhouse and pro shop are strangely empty. Am guessing they are about to start a renovation. The course is very green and lush. The pace of pay is really nice and we really appreciate them not over booking it. A lot of good about this course. Worth playing!

Third time to play here. It will continue to make our must play list when we visit Austin!! Beautiful first class public course will all the amenities to support it! Staff members are so happy and helpful. Everyone's happy to be at Forest Creek!

Love this course. So many beautiful water features and interesting course layouts. You will not be disappointed! Can't wait to go back!

Harsh winter has taken it's toll on this course. The layout is still interesting and fun BUT the greens are in very rough shape! The fairways are a bit of a mess too. The up side is the the price is fair and the bounce and roll is wonderful.

Women's tee boxes set them up to be in the same area as the men playing from the white tees, which makes it a lot of fun to play! Love the layout! Good value for the money! Pin placements need to be moved. Many holes are so beat up that it effects the roll of the ball. Ground may be too hard to punch new holes but it really needs to be done. Winter conditions are tough but surely the holes can be more clean. Otherwise great place to play!

Wonderful experience on a holiday weekend Sunday tee time! Greens fees includes hot dog and drink and a bucket of balls. They take the pace of play very seriously and we soooooo appreciate that! Such a great layout with staff that are eager to make your outing as enjoyable as possible. Will not get bored with the holes on this course. Even with 25 mph wind gusts we were able to enjoy the course! Excited to return!!

Have played this course for years! Wonderful location and layout! Seems to always be improving! Was an unusually quiet Saturday! Last time we played the place was crawling with players! This trip was pretty much the opposite. Maybe the $50 rate was a stretch for this type of course amenities. We have enjoyed it for much less but pretty much everything else in the world has gone up so why not tee times at Lighthouse. We will return!

Excellent value! Great course! The pace was great! Always a treat to play golf in January! So glad this course was availble for the time we were in the area! Plan on returning in the spring when the bounce and roll will not effect play as much! Nothings flat so you really have to plan your shots! Will make this a regular stop on our hill country golf outings! For sure!

Fast greens but super fun! No water hazards but plenty of sand etc

Was nice to be able to get a tee time on such a great course. We were able to plan ahead because the tee times were available earlier then other courses on Golf Now. Amenities are great! It's challenging but fun!

Layout is fun. Each hole a little different from the one before! Good shape! Nice practice facilities. Women are given a fair advantage!! Cart girl came around a few times! All was good!

Always a good time. Pace of play was a little frustrating but it was a Friday afternoon and the weather was nice so understandably the course was packed.

Very thankful this course gives access to the public. Very sad it takes 5 hours to play it on the weekend. Played my best 9 holes ever on the front, which was super fun. Back was a little tougher on my game. They give women an awesome chance to play along with the men so that always makes it more fun when our drives are in a similar location. Thanks again for letting us on your course!
