I have played the north course a couple of years ago (2021) was very impressive and been looking to play the south course considering how good the north course was . Finally get to do it this July.
And let just say that it was awful so sad to see how they let it goes to death like that ?? Fly in from New York what a waste of money.
The green were dried and crusty with patches of sod around it really!!
Fairway has crab grass. Out of all 18 maybe 2 were in ok shape. Bunker were hard as rock. Don’t know where the good review came from “ stay away “

Awesome courses to play. The pace of play were super good we tee off at 1pm almost didn’t see anyone except for the group in front of us. And they were not a slow player. They even nice enough to let us play through at the turn because they want to enjoy there beer bit longer . Staff were friendly and informative green are perfect roll true. Course layout were fun to play. Lots of good driving holes. Keep it up guys

Nice course layout but it’s not in the top condition. The green were slow and the ruff were crazy long “As in you wil not see the top of your ball” will Definately play again maybe during the peel season the condition will get better but for the price right now nothing wrong with this course

Since this course are now expensive than the past years. The condition is amazing green were rolling true. Fairway are in the best shape I have ever seen. (Been playing here for yearssss)
Tee box is are nice (most of them) that being said
The big big problem is still the mosquitoes. Especially on split rock
From hole 6 -9 you could have been suck dry seriously. Maybe in the colder month.

I would gladly paid $95 like I did today to play this course. If it was like the last few time I played here(a year ago) green were full with ball marks . The course in it self has not been groom like it used to be. Hope That changes for the better. Really like this course

Course in really good condition all around with very fast green. That will test your putting skill

This course got it all dog legs, water, hills , lots of trees..... all should try playing from the blue tee with lots of intimidating tee shot. Condition could be about better “fairways and near the green” but the green are nice and roll great

Over all great course!! Green roll great. But small little things like slow play are easy to be found here. No ranger. People from of the course are fishing in one of the many pond here . I think it’s really dangerous and annoying. Other than that would recommend this course to anyone

If you play on split rock you will probably end up being dead by West Nile virus. So much bugs and mosquitos . The staff sell you tee time knowing that they will send out shotgun outing an hour and a half later fill every tee box with foursome. So if you want to actually finish your round adding extra 2 hours.

It’s all depend on who’s you got in front of your group...I’d can move perfectly or it’s will take alllllll
Day. The staff are great or maybe too great that no one ever tell the slow group to move it along... we got a foursome in front who’s really really slow. But the after 9 holes 2 of them left . We got so happy thinking that it will finally move faster but nooooo!! They waited until the group in front of them get on the green before teeing off and yep they hit a 50yards drive. I’m sure you all know how that goes the rest of the back nine. Rangers please be more aggressive and do your job.
I’m sure this course easily beat the competition by miles just please move people along
