Played with big cups for the first time.

Wife had a blast playing- FUN

Green speed is awesome for small town.

Great layout you have to be able to hit the marks too score well.

Will play again .

Played to check off my North Dakota Bucket List

Greens were slow, Everything was cut at same length.

Stupid Par 4 to finish

Alot of dirt moving on holes 3 and 5. Did not know until afterwards they were playing 3 as a par 3.

Could use some tender loving care on the maintenance side.

Put alot of money in clubhouse now it is time to put money in maintenance.

Fun layout
Organized start with good starters and great cart staging area
* Driving Range is mats only and practice green has no cups cut
*Food and Beverage pricing is high, but quality product, must try the Breakfast Buffett on weekends
-Par 3's 2,5, and 15 are scenic mountain down hill with greens that require you to land on the correct tier
-Par 4's #1 is a nice easy up hill to start, but in the first four holes everything goes to the left - on #15 you must hit a straight drive as you must carry the desert and then ride side drop off
-Par 5's 3 and 16 are short -3 you have to make sure you stay right of the drop off on left and your approach has to be on the right level. 15 you have to hit a high approach to clear bunker in front and stop it on a shallow green.
THIS WILL BE AN ENJOYMENT OF A GOLF COURSE FOR YOU.
They over seed everyone on this course for the majority and water regular so you don't have to hit off of hard pan or dry rough like most Arizona courses

Course Layout was good with the exception of 18, where if you hit on right side of rough, you were out of bounds.

Greens had average speed. You had to know the course though, because some greens were two tiered.

Parking was real bad - Food Beverage early was excellent and good prices, but they closed at 5, so no beer to drink after round.

Price should be a $40 course not $70

- easy to get from car to Golf cart
- driving range had mats
- greens on front were slow but speeded up on back
-some traps had no sand

-Plus - layout was easy to have fun which I enjoy
Only water was on 17 and 18
- foot and beverage after round was great if your a hot dog fan try one

Great routing
with the exception of holes 2,5,9
On two would make the dogleg wider
On five would make the circular instead of oval and make the washout in front more sandy and less rocky.
On number nine would over seed the rough in front left of the green so a shot in there during the winter you still had a good chance of getting up and down.

Good course, Long distance between some holes. Good routing. Two downfalls were maintenance related the fairways were not over seeded, but painted green and sand traps were packed hard in areas. Playing the combo tees of Pine and Rust were nice distance. To downfalls not related to course conditions were no beverage cart and snack shed at turn closed at two.
Overall would make another trip from Gold Canyon to play course.

Short course to play for relaxation with family and friends.
Small greens that are raised.
Would like to see just a touch more speed on greens.
Great routing for the property available.

Front nine in Parkland
Back nine is Desert layout.

Would like to see rerouting of holes 16 and 17 and would make it a greater layout .

Has potential to be good.
The clubhouse doesn't connect good with food and beverage.
-Greens on 10-11 are difficult
-Some holes could be refreshed the Par 5 especially such as hole two, four and nine.

Sand Creek, is a place you should put on your bucket list. Was driving to our snowbird location of Gold Canyon, AZ. When I was looking for somewhere to play on the way and found this track.
-Great routing
-Fun to play is what I like in course and remember
-Hole 10 was challenging Par 5 with water on both sides and in front of green.
-Greens rolled nice for winter time.
-Neat detail of this course was Front nine was north of railroad tracks and back nine was south of railroad tracks.

- This course was probably the funniest I played this year.
- Early morning round.
- Routing of holes made this place a challenge and the great thing about this it was built without a big name architect.
Hole 1 and 2 have great elevation changes, with 2 and 3 being great driving holes that reward accuracy,
Hole 5 has a small stream running diagonal thru the middle of the fairway which puts a premium on accuracy and distance. Hole six is a great down hill par three.
9 is a great down hill par 4 on your drive and then back up the hill to the green.

THIS IS MOST LIKELY THE BEST NINE HOLES IN NORTH DAKOTA

This course was excellent, 4 0f 5 par three down hill - Had two dead trees right in middle of fairway which I think is cool and adds to the scenery.

Had some great green contours - you had to know where to hit to end up with a putt on the right level.

Real hilly and tree lined

Just a fun place to play, Has four par 5's on back with with 3 Par 3'3
On the front 3 Par 3's as well
If you can chip and putt you have a great chance at a low score.

It was a great layout, good green speed.
The only downfall was quick pace of ball to get to the sandy areas along the holes.
I am glad we paid a great price

An Awesome track, first time playing it and will be back.
Good routing for original 18.
Number 2, a little on long side for par 4 - 462
But great par 3's on front with 164 and 137 over some brushy pond on right. Three on back side with two clsoe to 200 and one at good length 152.

Had five par 5's that were all nice 3 shot holes.
Would rather play here then the two he designed in Moorhead Minnesota

Great Carts - Club Cars - Go along way to making round enjoyable. Good Food in Restaurant on back side of Pro Shop.
It is a must play for North Dakota , Western Minnesota or Northeast South Dakota

What a great place to hold this event.

Great holes that have potential to make my all time great holes Lakes Number 5 and 7
5 is short downhill dogleg right over water.
7 is 155 yard par 3 over water with big boulders surrounding the green and water
Great elevation changes and greens have great Sunday hole locations.

Great Par 3's
Nice to open with a Par 5 and slide into a short Par 3.
Hole 4 Great layup with uphill dogleg left
Hole 14 challenging but sneaky short
Great finishing hole 18 - bonus its a par 5.

Mike Morely knew what he was doing when shaping this track, he moved just enough dirt to make it look natural.
It is a must play - will play again.
