Under normal circumstances this is a well kept course with terrific greens. This day #16 was being rebuilt while the other greens were slow and scruffy. Fairways were also scruffy with all kinds of raccoon damage on the perimeter. A bit disappointing as course condition, even in the fall, is generally a selling point for this track. Very tough Par 3's and a bunch of Par 4's that feel much the same.

This is a great course to play and worth searching out.....provided the owner does not sacrifice more of the course to his Real Estate venture. He has already modified one green and one full hole to his chase for money. I am sure the course architect (Mr. Cook) would be horrified. In addition, the houses added are still in the line of fire...behind the modified green and to the right of the shortened hole. Why tinker with what was a jewel of a course. It remains a good play for the money and nestled in a nice location....but that could quickly change if the owner continues his nonsense. Put up a fence behind the adjusted green and put up another high fence so the shortened par 4 can be restored to its original design. Then I will come back. Additionally, please advise Garmin and other GPS providers of the course changes so that handheld devices can be properly used on these modified holes.

Best course in Tucson in terms of being there in front of you and beautifully conditioned. Played it many times and this might be the best shape I have experienced. Only issue was the driving range and pace of play. Front none was fast but back none got slow. The driving range was set up for us to use the far end and limited to 225 yards. Additionally, it was not fully stocked with balls. There was a Div 1 NCAA tournament which added to the issues in terms of everyone being able to get a spot and warmed up. Very disappointing for the college kids and us visitors. Members had ample space. The 225 yard limitation was frustrating. Of course, there was no information that this was going to be the case when we booked. This should be addressed for a first class venue like this.

Truly a fun course to play in superb condition. Value for money here. Bunker sand was the way sand should be, unlike some valley courses. I would recommend this course to all.

Love this course. Very fair layout. Range is first class. Staff are real quality. Food and Bevvy's are overpriced as at all courses. Only drawback on the day was the strong wind. Also, why no drop area on 17??

Course was better than I expected after not being there for about 4-5 years. Conditions were superb and the greens running quick. Played the tips and was surprised that it suited my game better than the Gold tees. A bit more room and was able to carry all the waste areas. Vistoso is value for money. Only downside is many of the surrounding natural areas are being developed. Money talks.

Course looked like the minimum effort was made in terms of care and mtce. Greens were an embarrassment. At one time this course was okay. The fees charged were outrageous for the condition of this course. For $15 it might be a marginal recommendation. The group I was with were paying $44. A joke.

Washrooms were disgusting. No AC in the dining area.

Course is in need of TLC. Greens were damaged on many holes. Practice green in rough shape. A lot of bad lies. Not enough yardage guidance on tee boxes.

Pins and tee boxes not changed for a week. Tremendous wear on the tee boxes. Bunkers are awful and I am glad I avoided them entirely. Inconsistent and poorly maintained.

Staff are first class and this course has amazing potential. Allowing soccer golf to occur on course seems a silly notion.

Not sure I will revisit on this trip.
