I’ve played BH many times over decades. It has always been in excellent condition. Unfortunately we were rained out after 10 holes, plus a foursome jumped in in front of us and pace of play was shot.

We played the executive 9 and then the Palmer back nine. Course was in good shape. Didn’t really know we were going to play the par 3 but it was okay. Palmer back nine has 1 par 5. Enjoyed myself.

Great course to play if you haven’t played for awhile. Conditions are a bit scrappy but the price is so cheap so there you have it. There are probably 5 holes you can use your driver and a good variety of par 3s. My issue was that there were singles like me that were interspersed with threesomes and foursomes instead of putting the singles together and getting a predictable pace of play. I waited and waited between holes on the back nine.

I played the North course this time and liked it less than the South. Awful lot of long par 4s that aren't substantially different from my point of view. Only 2 par 5s on the layout. Great price, free range balls to warm up, great staff.

Staff was on top of the social distancing and very friendly. Played the old North Course and it was fun. Tricky greens. Crenshaw.

Played with 3 very cool guys from Portland. I was a single. Course was perfect for my 1st round in almost 4 months. Pretty straightforward with enough water in play to keep you alert. I would describe it as a higher end muni. Staff was very friendly and practice facilities (free) were excellent! Huge putting green, 2 chipping greens and a nice sand trap for practice.

Staff was great. They let me change my tee time cuz of a sore back. Front nine seems like a friendly muni track but the back gets more interesting and harder. Some issues with unplayable bunkers but overall I had a very pleasant experience.

I used to play this course frequently but only occasionally now. It's a very good layout and lots of fun. Nice staff.

I have played this course infrequently through the years and had forgotten how much fun it is. There are some short 5's and long 4's, and a bunch of enjoyable holes. With all the rain this spring the course was in excellent shape. You should expect a 5-hour round however, as the clientele is fairly slow and the course fairly hard.

Used to play this course regularly years ago but then it became an "in" course due to Golf Digest. Also it seemed to cater to residents and regulars more than the general public. But thanks to GolfNow, I played it again and had a lovely time. It's a really good layout and wasn't soggy after recent rains.

The course is all hills. You drive your cart a lot between most of the holes. We played in a strong wind which wasn't fun. I don't who they had in mind when they made this course. It would be fine as a home course that one got to know well, but as a random public course it's just too hard and quirky. You just can't tell where to land your shots. Hard, fast greens.

I've played Garrison many times over the years. I used to think it was unfairly hard, but as I've improved my game I now find it challenging but fair. It sports beautiful views of the Hudson and West Point, and has a great variety of holes. No 2 holes are the same. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyable course. Condition of course was great. Only quibble: tee boxes are often not level and markers not facing where you should hit it. You need to be vigilant. Really fun to play.

This is a lovely course. Open fairways allow for relaxed driving, and the holes are consistently interesting and scenic. Most trees weren't green yet, but when the leaves come out it must be beautiful. A couple of signature par 3s are stunning.

I enjoyed everything about the course with 2 caveats: you can't find yardage markers and the pace of play gets bogged down on the Canyon nine with its 2 par 3's in a row. Otherwise a delightful experience for a reasonable (Phoenix-style) greens fee.
