Royal/Sabal at Grand Palms Golf & Country Club

My brother and I played the East Course. Course condition was cart path only. South Florida has received a great deal of rain over the past several weeks. All greens on the east course are dead, completely brown. A majority of the fairways were soggy, so much so that we considered them as casual water. Although there are employees present, it would be better to close this course and allow the east course a chance to rehab.

The golf course is in great condition for this time of year. My only complaint was a lack of sand on the carts to replace divots. neither of our carts had sand. It would be convenient if sand were available on every tee boxe or if the cart sand boxes were filled at the beginning of the day.

Lots of rain here lately in South Florida. Course.course restricted to cart path only. too many golfers not observing cart path only request. Marshals needed to save this nice golf course.

Played On 05/01/2018Nice Outing, BUT.
I've played this course several times and usually find it a pleasant experience. The young attendants were not very attentive. The worse incident was when our threesome arrived at the par 3 fifth hole, we noticed a group of six golfers with four carts playing the par 5 7th. After realizing they were not going to allow us to play thorough, we skipped the 12th hole and continued our round. This should never have happened considering where the starter and attendants are usually stationed. We didn't bother calling the pro shop to complain. perhaps in the future we will

This golf course is a delight to play. Management should consider returning ball washes at each tee box.

I've played this golf course several times and have always enjoyed the experience. I really appreciate the refurbished bunker. Restrooms needs attention. Staff should ensure that all cart sand containers are full and serviced after each round. Some bunkers had rakes, others didn't. Rake could not be fitted to cart.
West at Inverrary Country Club
Played On 11/25/2012Rangers need to get involved. At least ask questions.
Course was a good value using golf now. My buddy and I played as a twosome. We came upon a foursome that were very high handicappers. Although there were several rangers on the west course, none intervened to allow us to play through. It affected my game because there were at least two holes open in front of them.
Shooter99,
Thank you for your review of Shula's Golf Club. There are times when golfers do not listen to starter's instructions and play as 5 or 6. Holes 5 - 7 are the farthest from the clubhouse. We did not have a Ranger on staff that day due the course being quiet. Please contact the Pro-Shop immediately if you ever encounter multiple groups playing together. We will send a staff member out right away to take care of the issue. Your comments are very much appreciated. We are here to serve, so if there an issue that you need resolved, please contact us right away. We look forward to seeing you again.
Sincerely,
Shula's Golf Club
