We've had so much rain lately, we were worried about soggy conditions. Turned out to be much ado about nothing, the course obviously drains very well. We never encountered a plugged ball or anything of the sort. Lots of roll on drives, etc. Conditions were very good compared to what we've dealt with elsewhere.

We played with a couple of good guys, and had a great day!

Not a memorable course, but priced right for a Sunday morning. Fairways were decent, but greens were definitely slow and “fuzzy”. Would play again at same price point.....

Decent track, but we were a twosome stuck behind a bunch of other twosomes, so it took over 4 1/2 hours to get around.

Wolf Run is a nice course, not overly difficult, but it requires good execution in order to score. He course is well maintained, and for the cost, it's definitely worth the price.

Played the course about a month ago, and it was very dry and brittle due to the lack of rain. However, this time around the recent rain had greened things up considerably, so the course was in excellent condition Saturday.

There was a wedding going on so we ended up playing the front nine twice so we could keep moving along quickly. The marshal made the suggestion, and we're thankful for his flexibility.

This is a mature course with some tough holes, but it's a nice test of golf and the layout is pretty nice. Most holes are completely different from one another, which is nice.

Don't hesitate in saying it's worth the drive to get there!

Have played Lake Ridge many, many times and always go back for the layout and challenge of the holes. There are several good driving holes, and number 14 remains one of the hardest par 4's in the GTA.

Course is very dry right now, but then again, so are all of the courses in the GTA this year.

Singular biggest complaint about the course is the condition of the cart paths, which has gone from poor to worse over the last few years. Sooner or later this has to be addressed; otherwise, this is a nice course to play and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Was pleasantly surprised at how nice a layout this 9-hole course offers. Nice balance of long and short holes, and the greens rolled very true despite some dry spots. Overall conditions were very good given how dry it's been lately.

Special shout out to Stephanie at the pro shop who was went above and beyond to retrieve the prescription glasses I left behind by accident. Thank you so much!

We grabbed a mid-day tee time at the beginning of the week, but the weather didn't cooperate at all and by the time Saturday rolled around, it was windy, rainy, and cold. The rain held off while we whipped around the course, but the cold and high winds made for difficult playing conditions.

There were maybe a half dozen golfers on the course in total, so we managed to get the round in under 3 hours.

Conditions were good overall, but greens were "fuzzy" as they weren't cut in the morning, due to the weather.

We'll be back again, it's a pleasurable track!

I've played Ballantrae a few times and as always, overall conditioning was great. The only negative was that greens were very bumpy compared to past rounds. I'm not sure if it was just luck of the draw or what, but there were numerous ball marks on every green, and most putts were bouncing quite a bit on way to the hole, which is not ideal.
Still, it's a nice course and I'll be back.

I played the North Course a couple of years back and found the layout confusing and a bit "gimmicky". Played the South Course yesterday, and have to say that the layout is more traditional, and that there are a couple of memorable holes (i.e. 7 and 12) along the way.

Course conditions were not pristine, there were lots of bad patches on the fairways and most of the bunkers are rock-hard and clearly need attention, and sand.
We paid a very reasonable price for the round, which is good, because I would not see the value in paying full rate ($100+) for this when I could go a bit west and play Osprey Valley, which is always in terrific condition, and for less $ ......

I was looking forward to the round as I have not played at Lakeview for about 3 years. By the time I walked off the second green I was thinking of just going back to the clubhouse and getting my money back. The greens were a complete mess, and frankly un-puttable. We established a two putt maximum per hole to account for the conditions. Tee boxes were spotty at best, and it was hard to find even footing. Fairways were also spotty, with lots of dead patches. Overall, I wish I had something nice to say, but I really don't.....
