The course is in good shape especially for December in the Northeast. The greens roll well and you can see that they focus on that part of the course. I felt all 18 greens rolled consistently.

The fairways were soaked so you could understand cart path only. However, very playable. The T boxes are nice as well. Play it from the back for the most enjoyment.

I can’t help but give St Anne’s a 5 Star review. My son and I drive over an hour to play it in the off season for the conditions and rate. Sunday did not disappoint. Awesome layout. We played from the whites because it was 41degrees.
I recommend playing from the back on better weather days. It is a very challenging layout and will have you playing every club in your bag. The fairways and greens are in great shape and roll well. Enjoy. They added a pizza oven and what sort of looks like a black tie pool bar. Maybe someone should re-think that one. A regular pub at a course would seem to do better. Take a look at one of Jaw’s places. Always packed in after the round.

I also think adding the course to #golfnow will bring in more revenue.

Greens are back from aeration and rolling nicely. Always fun to play from the back tees.
Played along a family of 3 that took advantage of the same hot deal price I did. As we talked, I told them when they get everything everyone holds against the course inline, they will charge 135.00 a round. Keep it just like it is. Not sure why everyone complains about aeration. Everyone knows what times of year a golf course aerates. when it gets around that time, just ask…”do you plan to aerate the greens or fairways between now and my t time?”

First of all, “have it my way guys” play at 7:00am or early during the week. Saturday afternoon is filled with hubby wife and kids. You need to recognize nobody cares about your agenda or your miserable wife who wants you home. In my case, I played with 7 , 25 year olds. They love to be out with their buddies and it is only a small part of their day. The real fun is afterwards talking about all of their crazy shots over beers.

As far as the course. Really fantastic, I hope they change back to the old hole numbers. 18, now #2, was a great finishing hole.especially with the #1 handicap hole, the old 17, preceding it. Now, it is a tough way to start up especially w/o a driving range. Course conditions including greens were really exceptional even on a late Saturday afternoon. Play it from the back for the most enjoyment!!! At 7:00am, of course, Player.

NVGC is a nice course. Easy to play for all levels. There are a few blind T shots you need to be cautious of and a few holes that seem to push you one way or the other. Everything is fit in a neat little box so there are some cries of Fore!

Most holes are tree lined so if you hit it long and wrong you could be chipping back to your fairway. 18th hole is a nice finishing hole. Par 3 over water. We played it at 175 yards. Fairways and greens were in good shape. The 19th hole looked fun and had a nice crowd for a holiday.

A little bit of everything in the layout. If you are not paired up with someone that plays the course on a regular basis. Brian in the Proshop will give you a few tips on how to play some blind shots.

Well maintained and the crowd is genuinely friendly and look to keep up with the pace.

I really don’t know how this course even gets the play it does. The front 9 seems like they had room for 5 holes but figured out how to put 9 in.

The back 9 continues with a T Box on 10, blocked out on the left side by overhanging trees and the right is the driving range. The best hole on the back is 18 and the most ridiculous is the 17th. The 18th is a par 5 dog leg right. It’s nice because you have a target to hit over, fairway bunker, or play to the left and the hole gets longer. With a good T shot you can go for the green in 2. However, deep is in the woods and short is in the pond.

17 makes no sense at all as far as a golf hole goes. There is no good spot to hit your drive once you do make it through the high wires. Then is a series of humps and bunkers guarding the dog leg left fairway. From what? Bad T shots, lay ups, duffs, chinch’s? I knew I was in trouble after I checked in and the guy said “I have no idea what people do once they check in”.

The course is doing a lot of work to make each hole a little more playable. Best value for your buck in the area.

The staff, bar and cart girl were great. Definitely could tell they were well managed and trained.

Fun round of golf. Rain off and on all day. The course held up well. Finished in a casual sub 3 hours. You can’t ask for much more. Every bit of 6,000 yards from the whites. A lot of hills and valleys. Cart path only can be tough for the guys who don’t like walk.

Play it from the back for the most enjoyment. I don’t know of a better layout for the money in SJ. Crushes Scotland Run and Riverwinds for 2/3rds the cost Make sure you BYOB. Weird set up for beers and drinks. Get by the first 2 holes then hit away all day. Enjoy!

Great day at WCC. Greens were firm and fast. Play it from the back for your most enjoyment. Grab a bite to eat at the bar before you hit the road. Nice place to spend the day.

Frog Hollow has a great layout. A little bit of everything. On a drizzlly day they let us drive from t to green. The course is cut through a development but the houses are never in play. Get a course description book from the clubhouse. Gives you a little information on each hole.

Sunny and just a slight breeze. Fun course to play. It can be a little confusing if you aren’t using GPS. For me, just a few things keeping it from 5 stars all around are, no GPS on carts, slow greens and trying to grab a few beers 🍺 after 9 is tuff as the bar tenders (never looked in our direction) don’t seem to differentiate the guys passing through and the regular crowd.

Bag attendants get 5 stars as they are bright helpful and efficient.

I think the pace of play was good because of the impending weather. We teed off at 2 and mage it in by around 6. Not too much waiting for a Saturday afternoon. The fairways and greens were shaggy as usual I guess to accommodate a lot of rounds and all skill levels of players. One thing that I think they could have done better is to actively manage the “helicopter’s” falling from the trees. Certain greens became unplayable. Seems like it is the “your a publinkster, what do you want. Nice bar and friendly bar staff. I play this one because it is close and I can find it on my app.

I love to get the early round in at The Clay. Layout is great and challenging. Play it from the back to get the most enjoyment.

The cut some trees down to help out some of the sight lines on the course. Especially on 18. All good improvements..

The layout is great. Play it from the back for the most enjoyment. The greens are still coming back from being aerated. Always slow but always soft. If you are a putting guru this is not your course. If you like to knock it around and have an enjoyable day walking the pine lands you will love it. Very nice people keeping this place going.

I had a nice day at MH yesterday. The White T’’s played a little short and you had to club down on a an awkward amount of holes. I think the course will play better from the back. The holes are well designed and seem like set up for the back tees. A nice lady in the clubhouse coupled with a nice started got the round off on time. They have a range, chipping and putting green.

It was nice to get back on Ramblewood. The course was in good shape. Greens were really smooth and very flat. Which is nice for a change. I would give the Staff a 5 star rating but there is always someone in the Proshop that wants to answer you like it is the first time you were ever in one. Don’t let that scare you away, play it from the back for the best experience.
