The course was in good shape, greens were not as fast as the practice green. 5 hours plus is wat too long a time to plAy. Foresome in front of us lacked golf etiquette looking for lost balls for much longer than the rules permit. I recommend playing real early or very late in day.

The last time prior to this past Thursday that I had the pleasure of playing at Brooksville was back in 2000. I completely forgot how much fun I had back then but it didn't take long to remember. The 4 quarry holes on the back nine are worth taking photos as you stand there mesmerized by the view. Greens are one month into aeration so expect a bumpy ride but watch your speed as they still run fast. The iced towels provided by the pro shop came in handy as the temps hit around 90 degrees and high humidity. Played in three and a half hours with no slow downs. This course is a must play

The course was in average condition considering the lack of rain and/or watering. Greens were fast and fairways hard. The layout was better than average.
I was paired with three gentlemen two of which were retired ministers. They made my round a memorable one and would go back to play anytime.

This course should not be open for play. The playing conditions were the worst I have ever seen in my life. The greens were so damaged that I stopped over my first putt and just laughed my way to a three putt. The fairways were unkept not mowed in some time but it would not have mattered as they were as horrendous as the greens. After three holes we quit and I went back to voice my opinion and was then told that the irrigation system had not been operable for two weeks. This course had more than two weeks of neglect. The owners/managers were polite enough and apologetic but the day was ruined. They did refund our money and I feel sorry for them if they are looking at this as an investment. DO NOT PLAY!

Took advantage of aeration prices to play the North Course.and it played as expected, long and exciting. The course has some great scenic holes and wide fairways keeping my balls in play even for high handicappers. The length of time to play was self inflicted but enjoyed the entire experience. I will play this course again in the near future.

The course was in great shape considering the weather conditions over the last month. Went off as a single and played behind a foresome who played quick. I was off the course in three hours. Played other local courses in Tampa and this has been in the best shape.

The fairways were in reasonable shape but the greens were horribly slow, choppy and not well maintained. I will not play it again.

I have been a frequent player for more than 5 years. What got my attention was the staff and the early bird members. Such a cordial environment keeps me going back. Kathy and Terry are just nice people and I will continue playing there as long as I can golf.
