I haven’t played Shaker in almost a decade but I took a chance and decided to try it as I like playing different courses. The rough wasn’t too long, fairways were pretty decent with some dryness which is to be expected and the greens and fringes were in great shape. I would highly recommend trying Shaker as I felt the condition and the value was well worth it. Additionally, the pro staff member was fantastic.

Wycoff was in excellent shape today, the fairways were green and trimmed, and the greens were green after air raiding. No signs of dryness or burnout. Wycoff has always been a hilly course as it’s located on Mount Tom which makes it challenging. I have played this course numerous times over the years as my father was a member in the 1990s and 2000s, and I still find the course enjoyable. I would highly recommend playing this course.

It’s been 15 years since I’ve played at Wycoff prior to today and the facility and the course has improved tremendously.

The course does have some burnt grass on some fairways like many other golf courses this time of year but the greens are immaculate. The course is hilly based upon the location on Mount Tom. All in all, this was a good experience and I would go back especially for the value and time it took to play 18 holes with almost know waiting.
