Not sure what planet previous reviewers are from but their reviews are completely inaccurate. Makes me think someone else besides a player wrote them. We relied on those recent reviews to go check it out. I have played that course over 50 times since it opened and this is the worst conditions I have ever encountered on a golf course besides a local cow pasture. There was zero maintenance visible. The greens were long and bumpy, sand traps hard as rock, fairways sparse with grass but plenty of weeds. The rough had not been cut since winter and was 10" long in spots and covered in dandelions. There was no marshall on the course waiting on the group in front of us for every shot with 1-2 holes open in front of them. I asked at the turn and the 4 employees who were deep in conversation having a great old time told me the pace was fine. I could not understand how they could say that sitting inside. There is obviously a lack of funds and to prove it their restaurant was not even open and the course was busy. I will never play that course again and it is a shame because i really like the layout.and have enjoyed many rounds there in the past

Upon arriving we realised there was a tournament happening which were not aware of. The staff at the counter was very friendly and told us we would be out on time. We got our cart from the rather "stressed: cart guy and headed tp the tee box. There were about 4 groups already and no starter so we asked who had what times and were not greeted very well. It was the oddest thing, We said hello to maintenance staff, fellow golfers driving by and we received no response at all. It was like grumpy land, not friendly and the opposite of our experiences in Orlando area all week. I know it is a private community but man, how about smiling once in a while. We will not be back although the course was challenging and decent.

I always play here every fall when I am in Florida. The greens are exceptional and the layout is challenging and it is great value for the money. I played this fall just after the hurricane. as expected there was a lot of debris but the maintenance staff was out in full force cleaning up which was great to see. my only complaint were the abundant patches of dead grass around the course which had not been tended to in quite a while. the staff told me they were going to work on it but the next time I go if it is the same I may not return. there is no reason not to have plush fairways in the climate, this was just lack of maintenance in my view. i really hope they bring it back to the best condition possible.

Great layout as usual, the course was in very good condition, great value on GN for sure. The clubhouse is great, makes this a must play course and worth the shortish drive from Ottawa or Brockville or the 401. It has matured nicely, my only negative was the almost 5 hour playing time.

I really enjoyed the layout, the pro shop and starter were friendly . The practice green was awesome and we expected the rest of the course to be the same. There was no mention of any problems on the course. Upon our arrival on the first green there were what looked like grass clippings everywhere and sand on the greens they looked like a bad fairway. They were plain awful.This continued on for the entire front 9. and made for a very disappointing experience. There were only a couple of greens that were good out of 18 . When we got to the 16th tee the starter had come out to check on the groups ahead of us and I asked what was going on. He said he was not told and that a lot of people had complained. I went in to the pro shop to complain about the greens at the end of the round only to be told that there was nothing they could do. I asked for the manager who could not care less and basically called me a liar about the conditions. His attitude made sure that I would never return to that course, terrible customer service, he is a terrible manager. He had not asked about the conditions from his crew nor had he seen them and still he had the audacity to tell me he did not believe they were that bad.
