This course is not for the faint of heart. The course appears short from a scorecard perspective, I would say it plays 400-500 yards longer on average, if you are into the wind, good luck. The greens are some of the wildest greens I have ever played. If they mowed the collars down and really had the greens rolling higher than 10, lots of balls would be back in the fairways. These are probably the longest par 3's I have ever played, making it a par 70 adds to the difficulty. I just love classic Donald Ross designs and it is hard finding affordable and kept Ross courses in America that are public. I wish they brought the spring rates back and the food at the restaurant is good. Can't wait to be back. The last 2 times I played here we did 36 with a stop at IU's course. I do not recommend that 36 combo in a day

Played this course while in town doing a stay and play at old waverly and mossy oak. Loved this course. Both people at the pro shop were friendly and helpful. If I was a student I would take advantage of their unlimited play price for semesters. Would love to come back and play.

Love every chance I get playing here. Course is always in top shape. Greens are always conditioned. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.

This is the kind of golf course I could play ever single day and never be bored. I was passing through SC last fall and decided to buy a ticket to Clemson football, quick research I discovered their course, I parked at the golf course, walked to the stadium which is on campus, went to the first half and came back to play 18. I had much of the course to myself. Staff was excellent and accommodating. Played the front 9 listening to the rest of the football game, back9 has a lot of water and plays mostly of the lake on campus. An absolute gem and worth the 3 hours I went out of my way while being in the Charleston area. Counting down days until I can play here again. I wish they sold pin flags but they do not.

People of Indiana have it spoiled when it comes to great golf. Not many places in the country you can play a Coore Crenshaw design and spend less than 100$. We played the last day of the regular season in 2021. We had an earlier tee time and we were on frost delay for most of the day. We did not end up teeing off until noon. Despite the frost delay, I enjoyed myself. Pace of play was good, course was in mint condition and I would love to play here again. We were paired with 2 alumni that were in town for the football game

back in 2017 I read a review about this place and made multiple attempts to play here as we go to RTJ trail over the winter to get our fix. Weather never allowed it. Fast forward a few years: as I got deeper into golf, the more and more the golf community started talking about how special this place was and I kept seeing more and more about it. We finally made it here last summer and it is the most fun of golf I have had. We got a day pass and spent sun up to sun down playing golf. Kind of place you can bring a dog, 7 buddies, a cooler of your own food and beer. Every 9 holes we would swign back to the commons area, load back up on drinks and food and go back out for 9 more. We played every tee box and both pin locations. This is pure golf. I really enjoyed the ceremonious whisky shot before the round. They let larger groups off first and I wondered how it would work, I do not think we ever had to wait on a hole for another group. The game would grow if more places took the risk Sweetens did. If it was not 4 hours away and nearly impossible to get a day pass, this could be the only course I ever want to play again.

This is a fun golf course in a small western kentucky town. Miller Memorial was in great shape, the greens were pure, staff was friendly and the pace of play was consistent. We played late afternoon and the greens seemed slow, they were not torn up or full of diviots, but just slow. I am sure it has to do with the weather and time of year but I am sure they dial them up for events and tournaments. Would play here more if it was close by, was in town visiting a college friend

I think this is the best golf course in the Lexington area. The course stays in fantastic shape all year round.

Course needs a lot of maintenance work. You can definitely see what the course can be. I would recommend this to someone in the area. We came down for a bachelors party. It’s a tough course I found the course to get more challenging hole by hole.

Second time playing this course and both rounds were this winter. The course was in much better shape. Greens were nice.
