The course is in very nice shape. The recent rainfall has helped. The pace of play was slow but the course marshal was able to address the issue after several requests. We will play this course again.

We were pleasantly surprised at the excellent conditions @ Woodhaven. We have not golfed here for a few years and we will certainly return.
The only negative experience for the entire day was the unpleasant behavior in the pro shop as we registered for our golf day. How difficult is it to be pleasant and encouraging when customers show up and pay money at your facility??? Other than the initial poor experience, we had a Nice Golf Day!

Will not play here again. Took us almost 4 hours to complete a round of par 3 golf. Brutal - slow play. Group ahead of us had three holes open and would not let us play through.

We played from the blue tees and had a challenging afternoon. Many of the holes measured about 180 yards and required a hybrid or low iron. We had fun.

This hidden gem of a course is in excellent shape. The greens are incredible and the layout is quite challenging. My wife and I play several courses in southern Alberta and the greens @ BG&CC are absolutely the best. It's always easy to grab a Tee time and the staff is always friendly and inviting.

Beautiful and challenging course. But, Everyone of the staff members that we were in contact with(3) need to attend relationship classes.

This golf course used to be our hidden treasure. Great layout, crisp fairways and very fair greens. It is now somewhat neglected and desperately requires water. I'm told that conditions are improving.

Desert Falls golf course was once our favorite golfing venue. It has certainly lost its appeal over the last while. Fairways were patchy and greens were very slow and furry. Just needs a little bit of TLC.

The course needs a bit of TLC. It is frequently played and the stress is showing. Difficult to find a spot on the fairway that has fully grown grass.

Affordable round of golf. $35 green fees. Not worth more than that.

Course was in great shape . Fairways were plush and greens were well maintained. We Golf this course every year, it’s never been better.

This course is in really good shape. Play here every year and was pleased to see the course in good condition. Love the layout, but dislike the open caverns lacking water. Bring in some dirt and equipment and get rid of the eyesores.

Staff was over the top friendly. Other courses would benefit with a field trip To this course to discover how to treat paying customers.
Course is tight but fair. Not long but bring your big stick with you.
Greens were firm and easy to read.
Will absolutely play here again.

OMG the staff at this course need to polish up on their people skills.. Right from the pro shop to the course starters.
Cannot believe the unfriendliness and poor regard toward paid customers.

Played DD for the second time today.
Course is in good condition but the pace was slow.
Wanted to pair with another twosome but they had anxiety and preferred to play alone.
Course Starter allowed several twosomes on the course and this made the pace difficult.
Need Marshals that will do their job.

We had perfect weather during our golfing adventure. Course was in good shape and the greens were amazingly groomed.
Golf pro was very inviting but the lounge worker hated her job and let everyone know about it.
The course has a drainage ditch that is found on almost every hole. Keep the ball in the fairway and you'll avoid the mess.
Distance on the course is challenging because there are few markers that indicate yardage. There are indicators on the cart path but difficult to use when on the fairway.
The course offers a unique bonus at the end of your game by offering beer at the same price as your final score. My wife and I had two beer at a cost of $1.85.
We will play this course again.

This course is under repair. Stay away until they have completed their renos.

This course used to be one of my favorites. Golfing here is inexpensive and the course is challenging, yet very forgiving for the mid to high handi-capper. The fairways are wide and the scenery is pleasant.
They have now thrown in a new concept called beach golf. To save water they have incorporated tons of white sand to give the course the "Cancun" look. I realize that the reconstruction is still in the introductory stages but I feel sorry for the homeowners that border the disaster zone. I've seen many courses save on water usage but this plan seems a bit odd. Stay away from this course until they figure out what their plan is.
